When I started band 8 years ago, I would've never expected this activity to shape everything from my past, my present and my future. The last 4 years especially were a blast, but my final band season with the UMMB was full of memories I will never forget. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.

It's been over 2 weeks since wrapping up the most challenging chapter of my life, and I'm still struggling to find the right words to describe how it feels.

Three years after showing up to what was supposed "just one audition camp" gave me the honor to age out at a place that became my home. How lucky am I to have found such an wonderful family.

I'm incredibly grateful my parents who have believed in me every step of way. Grateful to the volunteers who are the backbone of this activity. Grateful for @brookestelmokasphotos @cfqphotos for capturing the moments that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Grateful to @leeroy418 and @leah.d123 for believing in me and my leadership, and all the mentors that have helped me get to where I am.

And finally, thank you to the members. Thank you for being the reason I returned twice and aged out at this organization. Thank you for inspiring me every day with your grit and your undeniable talent. It was all for you and it will always be for you.

Finally done with my college career. I enjoyed sharing the PSP, Euphs and the rest of the band. I can’t imagine UMass without you. Now it’s time to move on to my next career.

Couldn’t be there with everyone last night but this one was satisfying. From the Southern Tour back up to the Northeast and to Ohio, what a journey it has been! Learned lots from the staff and members. It was an honor to teach with everyone this summer. Thank you @cyruscheung07 (Photo Credit) for bringing me on board this season with @spartansdrumcorps. 🙏🙏

When a drum corps legend sends you a POL!! Vic Lee was in the Fitch marching band (played sax and baritone,drum major) and went on to March with 7th Regiment, The Cadets and Blue Coats where she aged out last year as drum major. This past winter she was extremely instrumental in helping to prepare, instruct, teach and coach Cavan in becoming a better player, performer and person. Vic, thank you!! You are amazing!! ❤️

What a year it's been!
2022 was a year of traveling for me, everywhere from home, Oberlin, to Texas, to London.

So thankful for all the wonderful people I've spent this year with and all the amazing things I've been able to be a part of.
May 2023 be even better.

What an incredible report from the vet today!! Emma’s bones are healed and look good inside. She’s released for full inside the house freedom and another month of outside on leash!!! We are so excited (her humans feel like celebrating freedom too!) ! Thank you to each and every one of you who prayed, gave, sent 💙 & even came for visits to provide Emma with some therapy. We appreciate you all so much. #bluecoats …be on the lookout for hugs when we are together this summer!! She should be able to give hugs again by then!!!!
