Teamwork truly is essential and mentoring our new team members is vital to the success of LTL.

40. 🤍

It’s strange to look back at four decades and realize just how many lives I’ve already lived.

I was a ballerina before I became a lawyer. I built a law firm from the ground up. I’ve spent years walking people through some of the hardest chapters of their lives, fighting for them when they needed someone in their corner.

Then I decided one dream wasn’t enough.

I built Le Fleur, something that started as an idea and has become a company, a team, a creative world, and a vision far bigger than I could have imagined when I began.

I’ve built businesses. I’ve taken risks. I’ve won. I’ve failed. I’ve started over. I’ve learned when to fight, when to walk away, and, maybe, most importantly—when to bet on myself.

But none of those things are the accomplishment I’m proudest of.

I built a life.

A marriage. A family. Beautiful girls I get to watch become themselves. Friendships that have carried me through every version of who I’ve been. A home filled with people and animals I love. A career that challenges me. A company that excites me. And a future I am still wildly ambitious about.

At 20, I thought 40 sounded old.

At 40, I realize this is the first age at which I truly know who I am.

I am softer in some places and stronger in others. I care less about proving myself and more about building something meaningful. I know that success is not one big moment….it is thousands of tiny decisions to keep going, keep creating, keep believing, and keep becoming.

I am proud of the woman who got me here.

And I have a feeling she was only getting started.

Here’s to 40. 🥂
