🥁 Paying tribute to one of my biggest drumming inspirations — the great Frank Beard. 🤘

What an honor for me and my band @cjssaloon2024 to pay tribute to the legendary Frank Beard of ZZ Top. 🥁🎸

Frank has been one of my biggest inspirations behind the drums for years. I spent countless hours watching his live performances on YouTube, studying the way he played, and listening to ZZ Top records over and over again. His pocket, feel, groove, and ability to make every song feel so powerful inspired me to push my own drumming to the highest level I can.

Frank proved that great drumming isn’t always about playing the most notes — it’s about the groove, feel, consistency, and serving the song. That is something I’ll always carry with me every time I sit behind a drum kit.

I’m so grateful my band had the opportunity to honor his music and legacy. Frank Beard’s influence on rock drumming will live on forever, and I’ll continue studying and playing his grooves for the rest of my life.

Thank you for the music, the inspiration, and the incredible grooves, Frank. 🥁❤️🤘
