I really don’t like to get too personal on here, but I’ll make an exception with this one.

My little brother Nick passed away unexpectedly while we were writing these songs two years ago.

Ultimately, this whole EP turned into being about him, one way or another. This song specifically is about how unfair all of it was.

Incredibly grateful to still have this outlet in my life, even if its purpose sometimes is to help me work through the really bad stuff.

For Nick. Miss you every day buddy.

This week on the show, we've music from old and new favourites including: Manes - All Good Things - The Racer - LEFT EMPTY - Shorelines and more!

We've a last, official selection from our Album Of The Month and possibly my favourite track from 'Ode To The Greyhouse' the debut album from Nashville alternative rockers - Edgehill

I know how hard it is for new music to get noticed these days, and how many cool bands don’t get the recognition they deserve. That’s why I decided to step in and try to do something about it.

Once a week, I’ll be sharing my top 5 new releases from up-and-coming and lesser-known bands that I’ve recently discovered and checked out.

I’ve also created a playlist where I’ll be adding each week’s picks - you can find the link in my bio. Think of it as a small spotlight on music that deserves to be heard.

Turn it up, explore, and maybe you’ll find your next favorite band.

Follow the account and save this post so you don’t miss the weekly picks ❤️‍🔥
