Happy Birthday to my baby brother who is one of the deepest thinking, kindness humans I know. He always shows up for those he loves and for me that has meant saving my kids Christmas when I was hospitalized, coming to birthdays and celebrations for my kids all throughout their lives in good and challenging times, staying playful when his own life was full of incredible pressure, he is self taught professional videographer in Hollywood, guitarist, some say dancer, comedian, supporter, best brother and uncle. We love you so much Ted! Happy Happy Birthday!!

About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending two days shooting a little proof-of-concept short titled Beverly. Based on a true story, it’s a tumultuous period drama set in the early 20th century.

There’s something special about getting a group of creative people together to make something. It’s intoxicating.

I’m so grateful for the cast, crew, and our wonderful HMU team who made me look beautiful one day then old and beautiful the next. And, of course, a big thank you to @jonmatthewswv @timbailey828 and @ebailey530 for having me out.

Ten years ago I signed my lease in LA. I packed everything I could into two suitcases and moved all the way from Miami, staying shortly with my amazing aunt in San Diego who helped me find a place to live. I always knew I could make it after tons of people doubting me and asking why I was moving so far without a job lined up. I’ve had amazing experiences with work and being able to travel and do things I never thought I would or could.

There’s no way I could thank everyone I’ve met since moving here for giving me so many incredible opportunities and so many amazing friends I’ve made along the way here . And I’ve been so lucky to keep some friends I had before moving who made their way out to visit and stayed friends with me despite the many miles. Happy ten years to all who celebrate (you know who you are) and cheers to many more! Time flies when you’re having fun 💚💚💚.
