We had an amazing turnout this evening at our Town Hall to kick off the upcoming Fall Veto session. Thank you to Sen. Adriane Johnson for hosting such an important and timely discussion on Home for Good (HB624), our amazing panelists, and the Northern IL Recovery Community Organization (NIRCO) for hosting us. #homeforgoodil

Join the #LakeCountyStrong movement

Triple CS NFP is calling on every Lake County organization — churches, block clubs, youth programs, barbershops, food pantries, school groups, fellow nonprofits — to stand with us as we take it to the streets in the fight against gun violence.

We are not asking you to do something outside your mission. We are asking you to do what you already do, under one banner, on one day, out loud.

What joining means. You don't have to run anything. You pledge to show up, to be present for our community:

· March with us at the next cease fire rally — bring your staff, your youth, your congregation, your clients, your voice

· Post under #LakeCountyStrong so every family in the county sees how many of us there are

· Share your door — let us list your organization as a referral partner so a woman or a young person looking for help gets sent somewhere real

· Bring your people to a community event — a table, a coat drive, a grocery giveaway
Trust doesn't come from the movement, it comes from the room. A community watches whether the organizations in front of it actually get along. If they see the same five people at every table and never once see those groups standing together, they read it as competition — and competition makes them hold back, because they don't know who to trust and they don't want to be caught in the middle.

Why one movement ? Logos on a flyer don't stop bullets. A county where the church, the barbershop, the pantry, and the nonprofit all show up to the same march, and all know each other's names, does. When a family in crisis calls one of us and we can't help, they get handed to a partner instead of a dead end. That's what #LakeCountyStrong is

Triple C's was honored to be out last night celebrating alongside Legacy at their "Decades of Transforming Lives & Hope" Gala. ✨

It was an inspiring evening filled with stories of hope, resilience, and the power of community coming together to make a lasting impact.

A special thank you to George and team for the invitation and for all you do to uplift and transform lives. We appreciate the opportunity to stand with organizations that share the same vision of building stronger, safer communities.

Together, we continue to make a difference—one life, one family, and one community at a time. ❤️ #TripleCs #CommunityStrong #TransformingLives #TogetherWeRise

I stopped asking for opportunities and started helping people create them 💜

@legacyreentry Relentless Gala, was a night of reflection, celebration and growth

In my 4 years of working as a Marketing Director, I’ve been so blessed to truly do what I love 💕

But it’s more than passion it’s my purpose.

Tonight, I stopped by the Lake County Rising event hosted by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office at College of Lake County. This annual event serves as a powerful reminder of the need to protect girls and youth in our community. ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾

I visited with many organizations working hard to end violence and abuse in all forms seeking volunteers, offering support, and ways to get involved. To the advocates who empower our youth—thank you for your tireless work to give opportunities to those who may not otherwise see them.
