“Det gemensamma i de presenterade arbetena ligger mindre i en viss fotografisk stil, även om alla fotografier är svartvita, än i frågan om synlighet, yttre och inre: hur individer presenterar sig själva, ser sig själva och tar plats i ett filosofiskt och estetiskt rum.

_Visible Belonging_ fortsätter NextGenAFK:s arbete med att sudda ut generationsgränser mellan yngre och äldre fotografer genom försök att skapa och visa dialogiska arbeten på nya villkor.”

Utställningen hänger hela oktober i Östra Centrums bibliotek.

I've been pulling shrapnel from the dead skin.
Reckless shots that you fired into a crowd.
All the vilest things and the pain that they bring.
Still, you never, ever can take me down.
Still you never, ever can take me down.

I've got heaven on my mind., i've got hell in my heart.

A few of my very fav shots from our shoots a while ago 📸

I love when there’s a lot going on in the background. It gives a photo so much depth and movement. I think the background is what really tells the story of a photo. I’m just an optional addition to it there to give it the final touch.

And in my opinion, Oscar does an amazing job of capturing everything in a single frame: the depth, movement, and contrasts. Everything works so well together.

Amazing work. Go give him a follow, he deserves it. 🖤

The sale has now closed — thank you 🧡💙❤️

What started as a text message to a handful of artist friends became something so much bigger than we imagined. Together, we raised 1611€ for grassroots organizations rebuilding in Cali, Chocó, Manizales and Pereira in Colombia.

To every artist who gave away a piece of their work, a poem, a letter, a class, a book — and to everyone who bought one: thank you.

Receipts and information about where the funds went will follow soon as I will get the last payments.
It takes a village to save a village. Thank you for being part of ours. ❤️
