⭐️ INTRODUCING TEEN VOGUE’S 2027 COLLEGE CORRESPONDENTS ⭐️

As the media landscape shifts both for the people who work in it and the people who consume it, the next generation is leading the charge on what it can and should look like.

That’s why, as we head into the 2026-2027 school year, Teen Vogue is expanding our newsroom across the United States, and onto four college campuses: @northwesternu, @syracuseu, @famu_1887, and @uscedu. Nine exceptional rising journalists, all entering their senior year of undergraduate programs (and one dispatch from London during study abroad) will be bringing you thoughtful reported stories, and long and short form video reports about everything you want to know. From fashion and beauty trends to cultural moments and current events, this group is here to tell it all right from their campuses.

As recruitment continues today, we would like to share some kind words of wisdom from our ambitious President, @ameliacoons💛

“Hi, I’m Amelia Coons, and I’m a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada

It feels surreal to be on the other side of recruitment, it seems like just yesterday I was in your shoes. I know how intense this process can be, but on the other side, there is so much friendship, growth, and fun that makes all the emotions worth it!

Theta has given me more than I ever could have imagined. I know that every time time I walk into this house, I can sit down with anyone, knock on any door to ask for advice, or feel immediately uplifted (even when I don’t feel my best). This community has shaped me in ways I never expected when I first walked through these doors exactly one year ago this week.

The very first girl who rushed me, @saylor.little, is now my roommate and best friend. Some of my biggest inspirations double as my iconic lineage (@mariagraceschneider, @_catethompson, @peytonmandelbaumm — I love you!!!), and I’m surrounded by women who are as hardworking, authentic, hilarious, and kind as they come. As we near saying goodbye to our seniors, especially my day one, @margaux.alexander, I’m reminded just how special and lasting the bonds in this house truly are.

What I love most about Theta is that it’s not just the words, but the actions. This house shows up for one another, and I am so proud to call these girls my sisters. Serving the Omicron chapter is an honor, and I confidently say this past year as a Theta has been the best year of my life.

To PNMs finishing up recruitment: trust what you’ve felt this week. During my own recruitment, my cousin told me to visualize the house where I could be in my pajamas, no makeup, fully myself, and completely accepted. (Which has definitely come true, considering I now walk around Theta in my red light mask, occasionally scaring fellow Thetas.)

I am thrilled to welcome new members into this community, and continue building a chapter rooted in connection, genuine love, and showing up for one another. I cannot wait to continue to show you why I call Theta my home.🌟💝🐆”

“I met my twin (both physically and literally) freshman year when I met Leia, and she quickly became my best friend. Not only do we somehow look alike, but we connect on an emotional, intellectual, and academic level in a way I’ve never experienced before. Leia brings so much positivity into everything she does, and being around her pushes me to be a better version of myself. From living together to traveling the world, I know this is a friendship I’ll carry with me for life and I am forever grateful to theta for giving me this. I love you, Leia”

“Theta makes people come together and feel at home, and my friendship with Brielle perfectly reflects that. We met freshman year, and since day one, it’s felt like we’ve known each other forever. We spend so much time together that people literally can’t tell us apart. From freshman year to now living together in our apartment, we have created so many lifelong memories together and I’ve found a forever sister. No matter what’s going on in my life I know that Brielle and I will laugh together. We have literally done everything together and I’m so glad that we can share this special place together too.
