I came down to Guatemala at the end of October to complete a yoga teacher training and ended up falling in love with and staying to volunteer at @themysticalyogafarm for a few months.
.
This time has been filled with so much magic, love, deep connections, prayers, music, dance, laughter, tears, insights, growth, and expansion.
.
My deepest gratitude for this experience and everything it’s given me. For the privilege of being able to turn my phone off and be more present in my day to day life for the large majority of these months. For all of the prayers made around the fire for the lives of family, friends, those who are suffering, myself, and the planet. For all of the reflections and the space to go inward and gain a greater understanding of my self. For the ancient practices of yoga and meditation to effectively create a healthy body and clear mind. For the abundance of medicines provided by the Earth to nourish the body, mind and spirit. For all of the amazing humans I’ve had the honor of living with and experiencing life with the past few months. For the ability to practice and see the beauty in living simply.

One of my biggest takeaways is the importance of community in living a full and healthy life. This is something that was missing from mine for a long time. I pray we all find community that we find joy in, that supports us, empowers us, and that helps us to experience more love every day.

🌬️✨ Celebrating the end of the first cycle (out of 4) of the YTT with a Sacred Temazcal! 🐍✨

Yayyyy! We’ve just wrapped up the first cycle of the YTT, Embracing the energy of the South, Amaru guided us through new experiences.

The wise Serpent teaches us to ground down and be fully present. As Amaru sheds its skin, we too have learned to let go of the old and embrace the new.

During Cycle 1 of the Medicine Wheel:
🌟 We immersed ourselves in our senses — seeing, touching, smelling, and tasting every moment of this amazing journey.
🌿 We wandered our sacred land in awe, moving with gentleness, patience, and care.
🌀 We shed old layers, addictions, and shadows by acknowledging and embracing them.
🐍 We moved forward like a serpent, one step at a time, embracing each stride with grace.
