🚨This Saturday @honolulumuseum Doris Duke Theatre🚨 For the past few months I’ve been working with HoMA to bring @leiculture to life. Our first offering: a spotlight on The Glade Nightclub featuring a screening of Connie Florez’s yet to be released documentary on the iconic “Boys Will Be Girls Revue,” which started in the 60s, followed by a talk story panel with founder Brandy Lee and performer Sheri Shane, moderated by Cocoa Chandelier. Tickets to the event are free with museum entry, and registration is requested (link in bio).

Outdoor pools are closing soon for the season and I’m a slightly slept on tattoo artist in MN that thrives in open ended and imaginative work but if you’re not ready to commit to a tattoo yet, consider hiring me for Illustration or Commission work for your grant funded independent projects. I am also interested in Mural assistance or event set up or bts help.

Ive illustrated for queer liberation and indigenous resistance through projects like~
- A comic spread for a magazine that highlights queer experiences
- Banners for an indigenous centered art resistance event
- Large scale digitally printed artwork for a land back project
- Queer Event flyers
- a tattoo safety brochure for an Org with Hepatitis awareness and care access

Ive helped curate queer dance parties and had my style input for small independent film projects- Because WHY?? Cause Im an intentional saphicc queer who delivers. I put the vibrator in VIBE CURATOR. My mind is like water and i can pivot the fuck out of anything. She’s a professional. Don’t underestimate the whimsy ones.

You can also help me by litterally just sharing my art or website with people. Like all you need to do is just talk about my art to somebody.

What a weekend. ❤️🏳️‍🌈🎬

The 37th Annual Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival was one for the history books!

Mahalo to every filmmaker, actor, attendee, volunteer, board member, Emerging Leaders Council member, committee member, staff member, and the incredible sponsors and community partners who made this unforgettable weekend possible. Your passion, commitment, and belief in the power of queer storytelling continue to create spaces where our community can see themselves, feel celebrated, and belong.

Together, we celebrated record-breaking attendance, with more than 300 attendees at both our Friday Opening Night and Sunday Closing Night screenings, and an incredible 800 attendees joining us on Saturday. Seeing Hawaiʻi Theatre filled with love, laughter, and meaningful conversations reminded us why this festival matters.

This year also marked the exciting launch of our Lei Short Film Showcase & Scholarship, an investment in the next generation of Hawaiʻi’s queer filmmakers. By supporting emerging local storytellers, we’re helping ensure the future of queer filmmaking in Hawaiʻi is brighter than ever.
