Last month, I had the honor and absolute pleasure of performing with the @hbartscollective at Jacob’s Pillow.

7 weeks with friends old and new, each one embraced me with kindness and encouragement.

Hope, my inspiration, my professor, my bison buddy, the funniest person on the planet, and the Queen of the Room. Thank you for turning the studio into a sanctuary for me, every. day. Being under your direction has been an answered prayer. I am so grateful for your patience and never ending generosity. Love you!!🩵

HopeBoykinDance has my heart 💙

Reflecting on an amazing summer filled with love, growth, joy, and so many beautiful moments. I’m incredibly grateful for the new and existing connections with artists who continue to fuel my heart, challenge me, and inspire me.

So grateful to have performed at Jacob’s Pillow with such rich history and meaning. Dancing within a space that carries so much legacy was truly a dream. @jacobspillow

And to @hbdance thank you for your mentorship, dedication, generosity, and all the laughs along the way. I will forever be inspired by you and forever grateful for you. 💙

Legiterally moving away

I actually hate change, but I seem to force it upon myself quite often. I can never sleep the night before a big change or like in general, but it’s when I’m alone that all my emotions tend to catch up to me…. And I’m being super chill about all of this, so I don’t freak everyone out by sobbing and throwing up in front of them. These photos go back to 2022. CAN THE CHILD WITHIN MY HEART RISE ABOVE????? CAN I HANDLE THE SEASONS OF MY LIFE?????

AILEY SENIOR WEEK ⭐️

So proud of all these artists who inspire me every single day. There is so much love, passion, and support within this group, and I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such genuine, driven individuals. I can’t wait to see all the incredible work everyone will continue to create and the impact they will make in the world. Feeling especially grateful to perform works by @hbdance , @evidencedance , and @yannicklebrun such an honor to be trusted with their artistry.

Working with these incredible artists and legends has been an absolute privilege. The wisdom, guidance, and knowledge I’ve gained from each of them has shaped me not only as a dancer, but as a person, and will stay with me throughout my life.

The friendships and connections I’ve built over the last four years have been some of the most meaningful and beautiful parts of this journey. The memories we’ve created together, inside and outside of the studio, are ones I will carry with me forever. My friends constantly inspire me with their dedication, resilience, and deep love for this art form.

I want to thank my mother @rochaunp for her endless love and unwavering support. She has always been there for me offering a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or simply a hug when I needed it most. I am beyond grateful for everything she has done for me. I also want to extend my gratitude to my entire family, whose constant encouragement and belief in me helped make this journey possible.

I also want to thank all of my teachers who supported me along the way. Whether it was writing recommendation letters, helping with hair touch-ups, offering private lessons, or simply believing in me, your guidance and care meant everything.

I truly can’t believe I made it here. This has been a dream of mine for so long, and to finally be living it is something I will never take for granted. What a beautiful, unforgettable chapter. 🩷

Heart full of love and joy! These past two weeks have been packed with beautiful performances with my dear friends! Getting the opportunity to perform works @thekeeratikid , @evidencedance , @hbdance and @kamaniabu all in these two weeks has been extremely informative.

Thank you for my dance family at home in Atlantic County @acit_pa_academy , for continuing to support me through everything.

Thank you so much to the Ailey school for giving me financial support to delve deeper into this work for 4 years, without the help I would not be where I am.

Thank you so much to my amazing cast for the sparks emerging artist theater, it has been a pleasure to collaborate with you all and create something beautiful.

Thank you so much Kamani for providing me the opportunity to have my @harlemstage debut! I’ve had such a wonderful experience working with you to develop this amazing work!

Little Dom is screaming of joy, he didn’t know he was capable of going to his dream program and getting the opportunity to hit the stage and find another home in performance. Thank you God! ❤️

just took my final bow with @theaileyschool last week and soon will be graduating with a bfa in dance in may. if you told me years ago that a girl from mississauga, ontario, canada was going to move to new york city to achieve her dream i wouldn’t have believed you. firstly i want to thank my family for all the love and support. i wouldn’t be here right now without you cheering me on. you are my number 1 supporters and you granted me this chance to make my dream come true. to all my friends i’ve met along the way, i love you guys. you are my people and i will cherish every memory we’ve made throughout our journey together forever. my heart is so full of love everyday being surrounded by friends that made this experience unforgettable. i also want to share my gratitude towards @thedanceclass for getting me to where i am now. without your support and training this dream would’ve been unachievable. thank you to @gabe_katz for agreeing to choreograph my senior solo. this journey we spent together creating such a beautiful piece was so special and means so much to me. it was truly a beautiful representation of myself and i was so grateful to have shared that. i want to extend a thank you to @hbdance and @evidencedance for choreographing our senior concert. this experience was so insightful and i truly learned so much. i will cherish these 4 years moving forward into the unknown. through ups, downs, success, and failures i am proud to say i made it. i am looking forward to my future career and wonder what the next chapter has in store for me.
