📢 Leith Creative Trail 2026 is coming, and we want you on the map.

Venue applications are now open for Leith Creative Trail 2026, taking place from 27 November – 13 December.

Now in its fifth year, the Trail celebrates Leith’s vibrant creative community by opening the doors to studios, galleries, workshops, creative businesses and cultural organisations across the neighbourhood.

For the first time, the Trail will run over two weeks, giving venues greater flexibility to choose opening days and times that work for them, while giving visitors more opportunities to discover everything Leith has to offer.

Last year, the Trail welcomed an estimated 40,000 venue visits, reached 200,000+ people on Instagram, and 100% of participating venues reported increased footfall.

If you’re a creative business, maker, studio, gallery or creative organisation based in Leith, we’d love you to be part of this year’s Trail.

🔗Apply via the link in our bio.

📆Applications close: 20 August 2026.

So that’s a wrap on another successful @leithcreativetrail !! 🎉🗺️

Watching this week-long celebration bring together and champion our local creative community has certainly been a highlight of our year. 💛✨

Thank you to everyone who joined in - visitors, artists, creatives, volunteers, neighbours and friends who helped bring the Trail to life. Your energy, support and curiosity made this year’s event something truly special. 🌟

Now in its fourth year and firmly established as part of Edinburgh’s festive calendar 🎄- and gaining national media attention as well as more than 200k Instagram views 📈📸 - we were thrilled to see so many people in the area carrying their maps, making memories and supporting small independent businesses and makers. 🛍️🎨

We are incredibly proud to see how LCT has grown and we are already excited for 2026. 🚀

Please fill out our short survey linked in our bio to give your feedback on how it went and share any ideas for how we can take it forward next year. 📝💡

Let’s keep the spirit of creativity and community alive in Leith ⭐️💫

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Custom House for the Leith Creative Trail on Saturday.

We opened our doors for open studios, an art market, and Trina Bohan’s @trina.bohan.art Skyscapes exhibition in the gallery - a lovely day celebrating Leith’s creative community in one of the port’s historic buildings.

Thanks to all the artists, makers, and visitors who made it such a success.
