We had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Tony Rizzo at Salon International 2026 in London!

Tony told us about the upcoming Alternative Hair Show 2026, taking place on November 14th in Madrid, Spain, as part of Salon Look.

This year’s event promises an extraordinary celebration of hair artistry, fashion and creativity, featuring 50 international finalists competing for the prestigious International Visionary Awards in Cut & Colour, Men’s and Avant-Garde categories.

The evening will also feature a spectacular Extravaganza Show, bringing together four legendary names in the hair industry: Quantum, Angelo Seminara, Sanrizz and Carlo Bay, showcasing exceptional talent, artistic expression and visionary hairstyling.

But beyond the incredible creativity and inspiration, The Alternative Hair Show has a much greater purpose: raising funds and awareness in the fight against leukaemia.

For decades, Tony Rizzo and the Alternative Hair team have brought together some of the world’s most talented hair artists, all generously contributing their time, passion and creativity to support this important cause.

A huge thank you to Tony for taking the time to speak with Le Journal Magazine and for his continued dedication to the hairdressing industry and the fight against leukaemia.

Madrid, November 14th. See you there!

The hair. The shows. The people 💙
Salon international 🇬🇧 London with @lejournalmagazine
.

Picking the “perfect” photo to post is the hardest part. There were too many good ones!
