Today is the last day of June. That make’s it the last day of the first half of 2026. It’s hard to believe, but time doesn’t ask our permission to continue its passing. On the other hand, I bet someone out there is already ready for this year to be done

And a half is enough, for most people, if you think about it. You could say that most of the things we do, we do at most half-way, because life can be hard and time is finite.

Unless you’re Pat. I’ve never seen @patty_phat_staxxx put less than his all into anything. And today is Pat’s birthday.  If Pat wants to make you laugh, he will take his world-class physical humor to its limit.

And if someone needs to do something physically demanding and difficult, Pat does it without even the preemptory “I’ll do it.” He just does it.  But there is one place where Pat’s unwillingness to do less than 100% comes out the most clearly, and that’s in our music. Pat plays all the drums and bass, and some of the guitar and the keys in the band (and even sings too), but it is as our producer that he is the engine of this machine. And Pat will stay up for three days straight to get a mix right. He’ll sleep at the studio to make sure that he can be up at the crack of dawn to keep editing hi-hats or midi notes. And most importantly, Pat does not believe in “good enough” with our music. Even if the rest of us are satisfied with something musically, Pat can hear that missing thing that will take a song to the next level. Nothing is done until it is 100% done, even if the world around him says otherwise.  We want to thank you Pat for holding our music to such a high standard. All of us in the band and everyone who loves our music are so grateful for every drop you squeeze out of yourself to make our music as great as possible. We love you dearly Patty. Happy birthday and make sure to give yourself today the 100% you give to our music
