A rooftop. A ring. A “yes.” 💍 Some views are unforgettable. Some moments are, too.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We’re honored Upside got to be part of such a special moment. 🤍

There are moments that remind us exactly why we started HAVA. 🤍

The stone came first. An antique moval, that beautiful in-between cut, part marquise and part oval, with the unmistakable sparkle only an old cut can carry. We compared a few, but the moment we saw this one, we knew it was hers.

From there, Mirad poured so much intention into every detail of the ring, from the hidden birthstones to the personal engravings inside the band. That’s the kind of intention that makes every piece so special.

Crafted in 18K yellow gold and made entirely from scratch, just for Lejla.

Congratulations, L & M. 🤍💍

This years Walk for Srebrenica has had many themes - remembrance, honoring the voices of survivors and importantly in the current climate assuring that the diaspora will be prepared to carry on the stories of the genocide and use it to shape a better Bosna.

There is no better love letter to the diaspora than the work of Lejla Zeba who we had the honor of having as our keynote speaker this year. Take moment to read her words and then find her speech on our page to listen to 🤍💚

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!

A big shoutout to @dsmwaterworkspark for letting us use their space again, @sinovipodrinjaiowa for their help with making sure the program ran smoothly and @ezan_omladina and ZemZem Dzamija for the recitations, performances, and speeches their omladina did during the program.

Our sincerest gratitude to @lelli.z Not just for traveling so far to join and remember with us but for her continued work to represent the Bosnian diaspora. Please take some time to follow her on TikTok and support her “Linear Relationships” series.

Thank you Alma Avdic, for telling your story. It takes bravery and courage and we hope it encourages others to do the same.

We hope to see you all next year and for all our future programs. Hvala vam na sve 💚🤍 - BAAI Team
