If you know of other events, please share in the comments 🙏🏽 At a time when we are seeing less activities during Black History Month, it’s important to come together and support the amazing events and programmes that are taking place. These are some Black History Month events in London for you to check out. See you there? 👀✨ #blackhistorymonthuk One for the networkers! This is the kind of event where you can go for the talks and come away with new ideas and opportunities, no matter what you do or what your interests are. I love what @shecanserve has built and their events are always a vibe! 🎾 If you want a BHM event that feels social AND active, here you go! If you work in sport, this is where you need to be! Check out the incredible speaker line-up and you will see why this is really good room to learn, connect and be inspired by people doing interesting things across the industry. Camden are actually running a varied programme of events for their Black History SEASON! There’s film, music, art, performance, talks, walks and community events, including plenty of free options, so there really is something for different interests and ages. I can’t wait to visit Canary Wharf to see this. If you work in the area you really have no excuse! But if you don’t - t’s completely free and you can explore four murals by Jasmine Kahlia in your own time, each drawing on Black lives, careers, identity and the diaspora. Make a little lunch date of it! I love exhibitions that feel intimate! Framed in Black brings Black British art into a truly amazing home gallery in Walthamstow, so go and discover an artist you might not know yet.
