sometimes dreams do come true.

@tophatsperformanceensemble - thank you for taking a chance on me, for trusting my passion, for pushing me to my potential, and for accepting me into the top hats family. it's been a once in a lifetime experience getting to make so many unforgettable memories with so many amazing people.

this team is so special. i have never spun with a more supportive and talented cast. i've watched some of these people perform for so long that getting to do so next to them is a dream come true in itself. it has been an unbelievable honor to share the same floor as you all❤️

this very well may have been the hardest thing i've ever done, but oh how proud i am of myself for doing it. being the first of hampton to not only be on top hats, but also to spin in open class has been a real dream come true. there was a time i thought this was impossible, but i proved to myself, and to all the future kids i get to teach, that it is very possible. these pots will forever have a place in my heart. gthgthg🎩

i was 13 when i started winter guard, and all i wanted was to perform at wgi. now, in less than 2 days, at 19, i will. and the best part is, it will be with the group i looked up to for years. the organization i begged to be a part of. the team that is so much more special than i could have ever imagined.

the past few weeks i've taken a step back and remembered why I'm doing this. why i've pushed myself so much harder than i ever thought possible. and the conclusion i've come to is: this is for her. the girl who just wanted to spin flags in a gym and perform like she grew up doing. this is her dream, and i've chased it for her.

so no matter what happens at wgi, i'm proud. proud of myself. proud of this team. and proud of the product we've created. i will not look back at this season with any regrets, but with so much love.

wgi - you're not ready for us❤️🎩
