We’ve just wrapped up our Ireland and Canada Womb Hara Massage trainings, immersed in the magic of the land and the beauty of sisterhood.

It’s been such a nourishing time, sharing our stories, laughing, crying and holding one another, giving and receiving this loving touch. We all left with full hearts and soulful connections I know will continue to blossom.

The ancestors of the land held us as we opened to embody and receive the medicine of this sacred massage.

People assume that once you build a recognized certification, things start to feel easier.⁠

In some ways, they do... but in a lot of ways, they actually get heavier.⁠
⁠
More students means more responsibility. More instructors means more coordination. More revenue means more complex finances, taxes, and legal layers you can’t ignore.⁠
⁠
There are definitely moments where I feel like I want to crawl into a hole and give up (still happens). But then I look at my team, my instructors, and our members and it grounds me again🫶🏽. Sometimes focusing on them is enough to bring the energy back and keep going. 🙏🏽⁠

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a founder is that the business only grows as much as the team is allowed to grow.⁠
⁠
For a long time, I was the bottleneck.⁠
⁠
Not because my team wasn’t capable, but because I was micromanaging, nitpicking, and holding onto decisions that didn’t actually need me. It slowed everyone down, including me.⁠
⁠
When I got clearer about the vision, expectations, boundaries, and deadlines, something shifted.⁠
⁠
Our operations improved.
The team took ownership of systems and community coordination.
Our social media manager started producing much stronger work once I stopped hovering and gave her space to create.
Our instructors expanded what’s possible in our members’ course experience.⁠
⁠
When I do my part as a leader and communicate clearly, the team gets to operate in their zone of genius.⁠
⁠
They take more ownership.
They’re more productive.
And overall, everyone feels better in their role.⁠
⁠
I still catch myself slipping into micromanaging sometimes, and I can see how quickly it affects morale. It’s a constant practice.⁠
⁠
My goal is simple:⁠
Be clear about the vision.
Set the expectations.
Respect the deadlines.⁠
Then step back and let people do what they’re better at than me.⁠
⁠

🥶I’ve been doing ice baths consistently for two years now and it’s become a non negotiable in my life. every time Derrick and I move, we look for two things right away. a good gym and a place to cold plunge. keeping this ritual alive keeps me grounded, regulated, and connected to myself no matter where we land.⁠
⁠
🧊from a physiological standpoint, cold exposure trains your nervous system to stay steady under stress. it teaches patience, emotional control, and resilience. it improves mood by boosting dopamine and norepinephrine and it helps your body tolerate more from the outside world. heat, cold, pressure, stress. I don’t react the way I used to and I’m grateful for that. ⁠
⁠
I wanted to bring this into our retreats because it’s been so transformative for me. our level 2 members were open and eager to try it and watching them breathe through the process was powerful. I also brought my team to a breathwork, meditation, ice bath, and cacao ceremony experience. it bonded us in a deeper, energetic, almost spiritual way. ⁠

Not all storms come to disrupt your life. Some storms come to clear your path🤍

Life, much like nature, flows through seasons. Each season, whether bright or stormy, holds unique lessons and opportunities for growth. During our personal “rainy seasons,” when challenges seem to pour down relentlessly, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or disheartened. However, these periods are incredibly powerful, offering profound opportunities for transformation and self-discovery.

In the midst of the storm, it’s essential to dive deep into conscious work and practices. Rainy seasons invite us to slow down, reflect, & cultivate resilience. They teach us to look inward, identify our patterns & nurture our inner strength.

Here are some key tips I guide my clients with during their rainy season:

🌦️Practice Mindful Reflection: Set aside time each day to journal/meditate. Reflect on your feelings, experiences & explore what these challenges are teaching you about yourself. This practice not only brings clarity but also helps you stay grounded amidst the chaos.

🌦️Cultivate Self-Compassion: Remember, it’s okay to feel vulnerable & uncertain. Be kind to yourself. Treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer a dear friend. This nurturing approach builds a solid foundation for healing & growth.

🌦️Engage in Conscious Practices: Incorporate daily rituals that support your well-being, such as yoga, deep breathing exercises or nature walks. These practices help you reconnect with your inner self & maintain a sense of balance & peace.

🌦️Discern your environment: Surround yourself with people who nourish you. Read that again. People who pour love into you in the midst of this vs spending time with those who judge, belittle & criticize. Let those people go this season!
