|KULTURSPÄTI 3.0•MUSIC,MYTH,ART| Ten years ago, if someone told me that my life in Berlin would be epic, I would ask "literally or metaphorically?" How simple questions turn into defining moments of one's self-mythology, like asking a young couple if they know anything about renting apartments in the area which proved to be central for most of my personal, academic, professional and project-related life. With Bowie's "Where Are We Now" in the backround, several reinventions took place, and the existential question "An Academic Or An Artist?" both tortured and inspired me until I was convinced that I can do both. An in-betweener. And just like that from storing school books or books on literary criticism, I started being gifted artist catalogues. My dream was coming true. From observing and posting about art which was "Kulturspäti 2.0" to finally participating in the art scene through interviewing amazing artists and having a project, taking it to the next level of "Kulturspäti 3.0". Because our personal stories are interwoven with gender-based, transgenerational, transnational, collective ones, and myths reveal very reliable truths about our identity and behavioural patterns. And just like that, you bump into a book about myths written through the female gaze and you turn a spark into a flame to guide you through the darkest, scariest, longest tunnel ever. Pandora's jar was my Trojan horse. I opened it and I found treasures, but first I had to destroy everything to create space for the new era. The results of a long process, but most importantly, on top of everything, the connections of this epic weft, the Muses & Allies, the people behind the artworks, the books, the songs. ◇KULTURSPÄTI 3.0◇ in the making. Stay tuned! #ber_lene #femaleodyssey #postmodernclassics

Yesterday we finished shooting Paradoxical Insomnia. A short film we have been imagining for some years now. A huge thanks to actor and dear friend Manolis Mavromatakis, my producer Connie Zikou and DOP Yannis Simos who gave body and soul to make this film happen. This was a big effort and nearly 100 people got involved and i am obliged to every last one of you. More posts soon 🎥

On the beautiful, relentless nature of women 🤍 Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the extraordinary resilience of women. Our ability to keep dreaming, creating, loving, and beginning again, no matter how many times life asks us to reinvent ourselves. And yesterday, at the Marie Claire Power Trip, listening to the stories of so many remarkable women, those reflections found an even deeper meaning. Perhaps resilience is woven into our very nature. After all, we carry within us one of life’s most sacred gifts, the capacity to create, nurture, transform, and bring something new into existence. But what moved me most wasn’t simply the strength of these women. It was their willingness to be vulnerable. To share the chapters that shaped them, the obstacles they encountered, the moments they questioned themselves, and the courage it took to keep going. Because there is something profoundly liberating about women sharing their stories. When one woman opens her heart, she creates space for another to recognise herself. To feel seen. To feel less alone. To remember her own strength. And perhaps this is one of the most beautiful gifts of sisterhood: the sacred mirroring that happens when we witness one another with love. Through each other’s stories, we rediscover parts of ourselves we may have forgotten. May we continue creating spaces where women don’t have to be strong all the time. Where we can be vulnerable, courageous, uncertain, ambitious, tender, and powerful all at once. Where we celebrate one another’s becoming, knowing that another woman’s light never diminishes our own. It only makes the world a little brighter. I left yesterday with a full heart, immense gratitude, and a renewed appreciation for every woman whose path has crossed mine. Each one, in her own way, has been a teacher, a mirror, a reminder. Here’s to the women we have been, the women we are becoming, and the beautiful things we have yet to create together 🪽 Thank you @marieclairegreece @biancabalti @niecynash1 @_sarahwilson_ @stephanie_cavalli @suzi.de.g @petravanbremen @siakossioni @lenadivani @vickykaya_ @katerina_didaskalou_official @galaxy_faraway @evitatsi Dr Evi Chatziandreou
