New team. New league. Striker.

Every forward knows the pressure. The goal isn’t just for you. It’s for the team. And Lena’s a leader in that locker room, so she carries even more of it.

My job was never to take the pressure away. It was to help make sure it stopped taking her out of the game.

Sept 26: her first NSL goal. Five minutes later, her second. Playoff spot clinched.

Then Goal of the Week.
Then NSL Player of the Month.

Proud of you, @lenasilano 🔥

If your standards are making it hard to play your game, DM me “STANDARD.”
