The first edition of Leaflet: Women in Riso has officially made its mark ✨ We’re already dreaming up the next one…

A room full of artists, riso nerds, curious creatives, and good conversation - what more could we ask for?

Huge thank you to our speakers @samrich.co @_ara_pena_ and @cranitys for sharing their work and wisdom with us, and everyone who came out to listen and learn. Thank you to @atlantaoca and @thegoatfarm as well for making this event possible.

i wanted to give this illustration its own designated post! first slide shows the digital version of the illustration, and the other images are the riso printed version! (unfortunately the digital version got cropped funny because of the aspect ratio </3) i love the textures in the riso prints so much (swipe for close ups), i feel like it adds so much to the drawing. also, this was made with just 3 different colored inks — sunflower yellow, scarlet, and teal!

in case you missed it, i also shared a post with a breakdown of the process for this drawing! if you’re interested in seeing how i organized my layers for riso printing, feel free to go give that a look!

i am also selling these 11x17” riso prints for $30 each (not including shipping), so if you’re interested, shoot me a dm:)

the photo on the second slide was taken by @lensofmoo !!

hi guys! here’s a post on my process making a risograph print ☀️ i’ve taken a couple workshop classes at @posypress.co this summer, and have really expanded my horizons with this awesome printing method! this post will walk you through my illustration process and how i set up my layers for this specific drawing i did in the workshop led by @cranitys in order for it to be riso printed.

i will probably be sharing this illustration as a standalone post sometime soon! i’m super happy with how the prints turned out — if you’re interested in purchasing one, i am selling each 11x17” print for $30 (not including shipping.) please feel free to message me if you’re interested!

photos are by @lensofmoo !! thank you so much:)

A little peek into last week’s Advanced Illustration workshop with @cranitys ✨

Participants got an inside look at Roxy’s creative process, from idea to print, and then had the opportunity to bring their own work to life. It was an inspiring two evenings of creativity and experimentation.
