Showered with love (and tacos)! 🩷 Michael and I are grateful beyond words for the laughter-filled, raffle-winning, full-belly wedding shower we were thrown yesterday. Thank you so much to every single person who came to be with us. 💍✨💝
Allyson is truly truly the MVP of MOHs (holy cow girl I don’t know how you coordinated all this), our bridesmaids and groomsmen made the coolest basket raffle baskets I’ve ever seen, and my future in-laws crushed it with the cookie and brownie boxes. 🍪
A special thanks to my parents, sisters, brother-in-law, and nephew who all traveled many hours to be here, and a shoutout to Gramma Mora’s for being the best venue! 🌮

One year ago, Afterglow Books opened the door becoming the first Romance & Fantasy Bookstore in Buffalo ✨

Dearest Readers,

I am so incredibly emotional as I put this reel together. While this might be possibly the longest caption ever, I’ll try and keep it quick.

Afterglow has been the most beautiful thing to happen to me. I worked my ass off during one of the most difficult times in my life to make this dream a reality. While I was taking hit after hit, this place kept helping me get back up. 365 days later… the devil said hi but baby look at me now 🫶🏼

Words can’t describe how thankful I am for all of your support. There is nothing that brings me as much joy as seeing how my happy place has become the same for so many of you. For every conversation had, book recommended, sticker laughed over and Taylor swift song that has been sung my heart has grown a little bit.

While I spend 98% of my time running this show on my own, I know I couldn’t do it without so many people in my life. While I can’t tag all of you, just know you’ve made a difference. My friends and family, my book cult baddies, my crafting girlies and all the small business queens I’ve met along the way…you’re the heroes in my story. I love you all.

Big things are coming in year two, I promise you that. ✌🏼
