💥 Praise Athletics a functional fitness gym in Miramar where everyone feels like family and where we truly get to know our members.

Meet Randy (22) one of our newest athletes. Randy was born with Apert Syndrome, a rare congenital condition that affects the shape of the head, face, and sometimes the hands and feet. He’s joining the Praise Athletics community as an adaptive athlete, ready to train hard, move well, and get stronger every day. 🏋️‍♂️🔥

By his side is Leo, his therapy dog who was born with a cleft. Leo brings joy and resilience to the gym floor 🐾✨. And supporting Randy every step of the way is his incredible mom Elsie, whose energy reflects the heart of our Praise family. ❤️

Through our partnership with Dragonfly Fit & Social Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Praise Athletics is expanding access to functional fitness, strength training, and community support for adaptive and underserved athletes.

🐶💫Two years ago, The Cleft Rescue Unit was just a dream — and today, we’re celebrating two incredible years of saving sweet special needs puppies and uniting them with the most loving families. 💙 Each wagging tail, every cuddle, and all the joy we’ve witnessed is thanks to YOU — our friends, family, and loyal supporters who have stood by us and made this mission possible. 🫶

A heartfelt thank you to Elyse Bittner Pekarchik, whose incredible kindness in reaching out to The Washington Post helped share our story with the world.

Since 2001, the Cleft and Craniofacial team at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital has been dedicated to providing exceptional care for children with cleft and craniofacial differences. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of 14 different specialties, works closely together to develop personalized and comprehensive treatment plans for each patient.

Every week, we have the privilege of meeting with patients and their families during their annual visits to ensure they receive the highest level of care. At Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of these extraordinary children.

A big thank you to our community for joining us in celebrating our patients at the Annual Cleft and Craniofacial Picnic! 👋✨ Families, friends, providers and doctors enjoyed a day filled with games, bounce houses arts and crafts, face painting, music, delicious food and so much more!
