Different than my typical post but I just wanted to show off some of the art I’ve collected during uni, whether it be from classmates, prints I ordered myself, or gifts. Tried to tag all the artist I remembered (if I didn’t tag it was most likely a gift and I don’t know the artist :( and others arent on Instagram), check them out 🫵

Also there are empty spots because I’m using some of my frames for the Art Education show in Project Space this month and the F1RST GEN show next month :3 come see me and my classmates art!

Good morning.
This is the beautiful free exhibition publication for Queer As Comics @qbcentre , and it’s in the form of a comic of course.
The exhibition has been extended, and it’s now on until November 1st. Don’t miss it!
The comic has work/words from all of us who were part of the exhibition advisory group, and the curator @paul_gravett
There’s also a free queer comics fair taking place on the evening of 31st October (sadly I can’t be there).
It’s an absolute joy to be part of this exhibition.
In other news, I have a stinky cold and will probably be cancelling plans for a couple of days and concentrate on feeling sorry for myself. The snottiness came on in the middle of the night, took a Covid test this morning and it’s negative.

WONT YOU BE MY SAVIOR? VOL. 2 IS OUT NOW‼️ What would you do if Jesus moved in next door? Written by Joseph Sieracki and illustrated by an insane lineup of cartoonists, WYBMS? Vol. 2 proceeds through a story that satirizes white christian nationalist Americans’ need to co-opt Jesus for their ongoing white-supremacist project in the USA. Is Jesus is a gun-toting racist homophobe or is he a chiller who loves sex workers, relaxes by the mini pool, and enjoys a joint after a long day of loving thy neighbors? His next door neighbor Tom seems to think the latter and wants nothing to do with capital H I M. Good thing Tom has Judas on speed dial.

NOW AVAILABLE ON THE PCP WEBSITE!

Diskette Press is at Pure Panic! We’re super stoked to have the Detroit-based publisher on the shelves. We didn’t scan in everything (you’ll have to come by the shop) but you can swipe through to see a selection of what’s in stock! 📚

Queer as Comics is an exhibition curated by Paul Gravett with support and advice from Clare Barlow, Leo Fox, Ollie Hicks, Rachael House and Seena Shamsavari. It is on view until 4 October 2026, at the @qbcentre in London.

The comic shown here works as a hand programme for the exhibition. In glorious stapled newsprint, it is a collection of their archived works and new reflections on the opening of the exhibition at Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration on 5 June 2026. I have now bagged and boarded my copy for better preservation! History in the making...

Cover design © Leo Fox, 2026; Drawing On My Own © Seena Shamsavari, 2012; Queer as Comics © Paul Gravett, 2026; Why Comics? © Leo Fox, 2026; Comics and Community © Clare Barlow, 2026; Last Night A Queerzine Saved My Life © Rachael House, 2026; Bittersweet © Ollie Hicks, 2026; Even if no one else does © Seena Shamsavari, 2012.

Design by Wolfe Hall. Shown here under educational fair use.

You can browse and read a selection of comics from the exhibition and beyond in the Library at Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–5pm.

It was awesome to visit the Queer as Comics exhibition at the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration in London, in the company of @frandelamoram and personally guided by curator Paul Gravett. Very grateful. Hope it's OK to share some pics as a small sample and pique your interest. Copyrights belong to respective authors/owners and pics are shared under educational fair use.

This small but substantial exhibition traces more than 80 years of LGBTQIA+ comics, graphic novels, cartoons and zines, from the 1940s to today. The exhibition brings together pioneering and contemporary creators, exploring how comics have offered queer artists a space for identity, community, resistance and imagining different futures.

On until 4 October 2026, Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–5pm. Adults £15, with concessions available. Please note visitors under the age of 15 are not permitted to enter the galleries without an adult.
