90 Days. 5 Sessions. 34 Years in the Making. 💅🏽💕

To some, it’s just nail growth. To me, it’s proof that I’m finally breaking a habit I’ve struggled with my entire life.

From childhood to adulthood, nail biting was a habit I just couldn’t shake. My mom and grandma tried everything! I’d visit nail salons, get acrylics or dip powder, and within two weeks, I’d bite them right off.

Every year, I promised myself I’d stop. Every year, I fell back into the same habit. Eventually, I stopped making it a New Year’s resolution altogether.

But as my 34th birthday approached, something changed. I made a decision: YEAR 34 WOULD BE ABOUT BREAKING BAD HABITS AND KEEPING PROMISES TO MYSELF.

Then I met an amazing nail technician who told me she could help grow my natural nails. I had my doubts, but I decided to trust her, commit to the process, and give myself another chance.

And here we are… 90 days, 5 builder gel sessions, and I FINALLY HAVE NAILS LONG ENOUGH TO PAINT AND DESIGN! 😭💅🏽 Even my nail tech is surprised by how quickly they’ve grown and how committed I’ve been.

But this journey has become about so much more than nails. It’s about discipline, consistency, self-control, and realizing that a lifelong habit doesn’t have to be a forever habit.

I’m sharing this because maybe someone else needs that reminder, and because I want to continue holding myself accountable.

What seems like a small victory to others can represent a lifetime of personal growth. ❤️ #buildergelnails

I didn’t know what the journey would look like…
but I trusted Him through every high and every low.

Even in my hardest season… He provided, protected, and carried me through.
