Here are some highlights from Saturday's Second City Sonic Attack 3 at @centrala_space

What a great night! The place was packed to hear some amazing sets from our line up of performers.

@criesfromtheltn @emptycut_bybizarrehands @sonsofgeometry @train_deer @jettenbach808 @emptycut_bybizarrehands @tekno_andy @romsets @leolodreamland

If you liked what you heard and want to find out more about these artists then please follow them and check out their material over on Bandcamp. They are all super-talented and their back catalogues are well worth checking out.

The brilliant DJs @thedebonairsocialclub and @dark_train_wcr kept the sounds going for us and made sure the mood was just right throughout the night.

And the whole audio - visuals experience was made complete by the video magicians @mundaneconsciousness and @leolodreamland plus @jessica_dyer__

This was the third installment of the @kushikatsurecords Second City Sonic Attack series and we can't wait to see what episode 4 brings to Brum!

Bonus Content Alert! Now with added Tekkaz!

The ocassional Human Squid from Stoke's @electric_tentacle rides waves of deep throbbing sound into the Second City on his migratory journey around the UK and Western Europe.

Sounds taken from various synths, modular rig and previous performances then improvised using Ableton Live, various crayon coloured MIDI controllers and maybe a hardware synth or two.

Second City Sonic Attack 3: meet the DJs - Kate Bosworth @dark_train_wcr

Kate Bosworth is a sound and multimedia artist and radio producer/presenter from Wiltshire in South West England.

Between conscious intention and unconscious drift, Kate serves as an evolving conduit, harnessing the spontaneity of field-recorded sound and drawing upon instinct to weave improvisational segues that unite the music and art featured on Dark Train, a radio programme broadcast on Warminster Community Radio since 2012 and more recently, on Radio MINERVA in South America.

Kate is one half of the Warminster-based band BMH, which relishes experimenting with remote-location recording and one third of BlackAnimisM, where they perform as the Fox alongside the Basilisk and the Rooster. They are also one quarter of the more recently formed Orquesta Delira.

Tickets available on via @kushikatsurecords
and on Skiddle

Get down to @centrala_space on Saturday 17 October and catch the Dark Train!
