and so here we are

december 31st 2025

cain’t keep us down

the year of the snake. that’s where it started for us, and it was far more than just our new board graphic

life on chapel street during this current loop around the sun, has been many things, but if I was to sum it up in one word, that word would have to be ‘tested’

now, being at this end of the year, we can look back and see where we have been. and it is particularly satisfying to know that the ongoing support and encouragement we receive from our local community, and from all of our customers be they in store or online, that throughout what has been a genuinely bizarre and in some ways a chaotic year, we remain in a strong position, positive and reassured

we are evolve. and we simply do what we have always done - we stay focused, we pay attention, we look after people, and we do our best

so again, to you who have, to you who do, and to you who continue to, we thank you. without you, we couldn’t do what we do

we end this year with love and warm wishes, to you and yours, and for the new year 2026

keep watch

The Koston AirMax95

The Man himself was instrumental in redesigning the iconic ‘95 for skateboarding, and this release marks almost 30 years of his signature shoes

With the Koston call-out on the tongue, and in his go-to K1 colourway, this second ‘95 quick strike sees history made

This entire post, including all of the photography that will be included in tomorrow’s follow-up post, was produced independently by our boys. Keep watch.

Campbell x Evolve

Prahran Skate Park 3181

You can feel a renewed energy in Prahran and that shiny new park around the corner has everything to do with it

So as we move forward to embrace a collective future, Evolve and Campbell pause to pay humble homage to the past with the release of this OG Prahran ramp board

This image is an instant reminder of iconic Prahran vert ramp featuring the landmark 7 storey ‘Read’s’ department store building in the heart of Prahran - both of which are so dear to so many who have shared in their long rich histories

Countless hours were spent photographing the old park in the months leading up to its’ demise, posting regular collaborative photographic essays on ours and @visualsbycampbell’s Instagram accounts

Campbell produced Prahran Skate Park 3181, a coffee table style book capturing the park’s details and unique character, as well as the people who inhabit it

Produced on premium American Pro 7 ply Canadian Rock Maple, these boards are available now in all sizes from 8.0 thru 8.75

Both the Prahran Skate Park 3181 board and Campbell’s book are available in store and online

tHe rAnsoM noTe

one of our most recognised boards - back by popular demand after a 3 year hiatus

this board has inadvertently been with us through so much of our history - the good, the tough and turbulent times, including helping us and a lot of you to get through 6 Covid lockdowns - all in and around the skate community of chapel street and prahan #3181

Some of the team making the most of last week’s weather, wetter than Paris down here! Featuring the @nikesb x @suminaynay Federation Kits

The men’s Olympic Skateboarding starts right now! Consider this your reminder to tune in

Last night’s girls street skating was also quite the show, with 14-year-old Coco Yoshizawa taking out the gold medal, and is worth a catch-up watch

Twenny Twenny Three

So is that it? Are we done? Can we go home now?

This year has bolted by. Unbelievable. And what a beauty it’s been. After a rough and tumble start we stayed the course, focused, and in the end we killed it. So much growth for us in so many ways, but heaps still to do, so there’s lots we’re looking forward to in ‘24

Sincere gratitude always, never taking anything for granted, paying attention and giving thanks daily

We get support, recognition and encouragement from many many quarters, like you guys, ptown locals, randoms, our distributors and suppliers, our delivery drivers, (just to mention the obvious), but all of which is humbling, often surprising and very much appreciated

Thank you the Evl team: Levi, Rubes, Campbell and Daz, as well as Nera and The Doctor behind the scenes

To the skaters who look after us, including Leon, Leo, Joey, Luka, Noah, River, Mac, Loïc, Nate, Maks, Hans, Noa and Flynn - we’re proud to have you on board

And of course importantly, all of you who do, and all of you who continue to - we simply couldn’t do this without you - thank you very much

Have a great night everyone. Stay safe and we’ll see you next year!

Peace and Love
