🇬🇧 Last weekend, the Company of the Silver Dragon visited Samobor, where the famous Battle of Samobor was staged for the twenty-first time.

There, the mercenary Nymandus tried his hand at knightly contests, entering the assembled ranks to fight with a shield and sword and a long sword, demonstrating the skill of weapons befitting a warrior of that time.

In the camp, old crafts could also be seen: a blacksmith demonstrated the art of forging on an open fire in front of the crowd, while a mail maker patiently demonstrated his skill link by link.

While the steel was being forged and the mail woven, our cook worked diligently for two days, keeping the troop well-fed and ready for the coming battle.

Finally, we entered the battle, where the clang of armor and military shouts were heard again on the Samobor field, reviving scenes of bygone times.

And so our troop once again left its mark among those who cherish the memories of bygone times.

3h Summer Endurance
Our second race, coming in about a month after our successful debut. Again showing great pace in practice which was proven in qualifying. We qualified 5th, but 4th place was definitely up for grabs, even a podium if we're lucky. In the opening stint, we kept our position, survived a few attacks from people behind, but lost a bit of ground to 4th place. That changed later though, as we overtook them and built a lap worth of gap in a single stint. From then on, we never looked back. A lot of the race we spent in the podium places and even lead a big part of the race. We even managed to keep up with the faster guys in front. After the pitstops filtered out and the checkered flag fell, we crossed the line in P4, 3 laps behind the podium finishers, while putting 8 laps to the guys behind us. Best of the rest, and another very strong showing for us. As we watched the top 3 spray the "champagne", we knew exactly what our goal is for the next season. A potential first win maybe? Tune in and follow us!

THE RETURN OF THE KING

1h Winter Endurance, with the return of our photographer @leoneoneoneon . Technical issues on the track interupted qualifying, and strategical mishaps in the race compromised the race (thanks, @rodjo_offic1al )

Manager's note:

SWS Endurance 3h
