Create imperfectly 🧡🟢🧡

Finding ideas is easy - we could all have a dozen new plans forming in our minds at any given time. Sticking to a plan, however, is much harder. Imagining the next big thing requires just a few moments of creativity and a lot of people are probably doing it at this exact moment. But committing to really seeing a project from its beginning to its end requires more than momentary inspiration. And let’s be honest, we’re not always inspired. We’re lazy on Mondays, we’re yawing through the week and we’re almost always excited for a good rest on Sundays.
But we get on with it - especially when we don’t feel like it. Sometimes inspiration might be a little shy, so we give it a nudge and while we wait for it to pop up, we have to push ourselves to still create, to still edit, still grab shots, still paint, still write, even if the results are not always perfect. Because waiting for inspiration might just not be enough and sometimes the perfect time to do something is now.
What matters at the end of the day is to be relentless in the pursuit of your goal and to keep encouraging your teammates to push through a little harder on those days when they’d much rather have a little nap instead.

Some days we find ourselves going round and round in circles, worrying so much until we can no longer remember what we were worrying about in the first place. And that’s okay. We get stuck inside our own thoughts, inside our own tricky mind, unable to see any exit. And that’s okay, too.

But remember, on such days, to turn to your friends - it is well known that sharing a problem reduces it by half. Remember to let others help you from time to time. Remember that there is always a shoulder to lean on - so allow yourself to lean on it when you need to.

As overthinkers, we owe a lot to our friends, who make us feel less alone when trapped between our inner worries. That’s why we like to share other people’s work with you - we hope, by sharing their pictures and their thoughts, to remind you that you are never alone in the things that you notice, in the things that you worry about, or in the things that you care about.

Easy like a box of crayons 🖍🧑‍🎨💜

Sometimes, the pressure of doing everything perfect, of always keeping in line with others, of proving yourself and playing by the rules can be overwhelming.

That’s when we prefer returning to the first form of art that was introduced to us - crayon drawings. Breaking with the traditions and defying the expectations of others gives us the freedom we need to create without worries and rediscover a child-like enthusiasm that allows us to draw inspiration from everything that surrounds us.

Street Photography is a new category by Chillea&friends in which we want to explore different perspectives about film and memories. Reaching out to our creative friends, we want to find out how they see their surroundings, which details they pay attention to, how life looks through their lenses. What makes analogue photography so special is the mindfulness it requires: it is by walking around and actually being aware of our environment that we can find the magic in the ordinary.

Les presentamos un poco de lo que ha sido el Show de “Mar Bravo” los últimos días 🌊 Es increíble todo el ambiente que se crea cuando está ola funciona: tubazos, caídas, surfistas recontra felices y asustados, fotógrafos, panas, tablas rotas y muchas cosas más que no las podemos contar porque realmente hay que estar ahí para vivirlo 🙌🏻 Esperamos que la temporada siga igual de buena de cómo ha empezado y sigamos teniendo más días memorables como loas últimos. Queremos agradecerle a toda la gente que estuvo presente de alguna u otra forma e hicieron que sea increíble 🙏🏻🌞

Hoy les quiero compartir esta experiencia lindisima que viví hace unos días con @annnniborges ! El nacimiento de tortuguitas marinas 🐢💙.

A continuación Anni nos comparte un poco de información sobre estos increíbles animales y como convivir con estos de una manera correcta ✨

“Ecuador alberga 4 de las 7 especies de tortugas marinas en el mundo. La información sobre el estado y la población de estas especies en el país es escaso, lo que resulta en malas prácticas de conservación y manejo de las tortugas. En ecuador, tenemos la suerte de presenciar tortugas anidando durante todo el año, nuestras costas son áreas importantes para su reproducción y anidación.
La falta de concienciación por parte de los ciudadanos es resultado de la desinformación qué hay sobre estos temas. Muchos humanos se preguntan qué hacer en el caso de toparse con un nido de tortugas que está eclosionando? Lo correcto y lo más básico es no tocar y mantener tu distancia. Si tienes tiempo de quedarte cerca puedes cuidar que las tortugas no sean molestadas por depredadores, espantar a pájaros y perros, y avisarle a personas al rededor que tengan cuidado. Mucha gente piensa que lo correcto es cogerlas y lanzarlas al mar, pero las tortugas toman hasta 48 horas entre que entran al mar, nadan, vuelven a la orilla y vuelven al mar. Tocarlas y meterlas al mar interrumpe su ciclo natural en el que aprenden y se acostumbran a moverse y utilizar sus aletas, y las prepara para otros desafíos que les traerá el océano.”
