To celebrate Frieze London, we gathered friends at the Barbican Art Gallery last week for a private tour of Robert Ryman’s new exhibition — a major survey of his celebrated white paintings and experimental practice — followed by lunch at The Horses in Farringdon.

Many thanks to our co-hosts — Alison Ross Green, Leonie Mir and Silka Rittson Thomas — and to everyone who joined us for this special afternoon.

Rober Ryman: The Real Thing.

So moving, whimsical, musical, deliberate. One of the most beautiful shows I have seen in London.
Major congrats to @wellsfs

#art #arttalk #hamburg. Sabine Schiffer, together with Leonie Mir from Frieze Official, hosted a private tour of the Kristen brothers’ collection in HafenCity, followed by an inspiring discussion with the two brothers, which was moderated by Sabine Schiffer. The evening drew to a close with a dinner together in a special atmosphere. It was a great pleasure for me to listen to the fascinating discussion and to have many interesting and stimulating conversations afterwards. Many thanks for the invitation and the opportunity to discover this impressive collection – an all-round successful evening.

In the midst of one of Berlin’s busiest weeks for the private Capital Community, I organized a wonderful evening at the @gropiusbau together with @friezeofficial & @leoniemir

A special thank you to @jennyschlenzka and @isabel__parkes for offering such insightful access to the wonderful Peter Hujar and Liz Deschenes exhibition.

Beyond that, we were fortunate to gain fascinating insights into @palaispopulaire and its outstanding collaboration with the Written Art Collection.

The days that followed were full of visits to foundations, a tour of the beautifully renovated @miettinencollection and gallery hopping across the city.

Three incredibly dense, enriching, and rewarding days filled with art, conversations, friends and new perspectives, and now already on the way back to Frankfurt.

Honoured to be asked to join the newly formed @friezeofficial Masters Council alongside some brilliant minds, aesthetes, and collectors. FM is undisputedly among the very best of fairs globally, serving the most informed and discerning, and I am thrilled to be involved.

Thank you @emanuela_tarizzo @leoniemir for having me and for putting together such a great group and inaugural trip to Florence! Loved the tour of the Rothko show @palazzostrozzi by @arturogalansino as well as the @uffizigalleries by Simone Verde, @l.erba.del.vicino, all capped off with amazing dinners chez @livia_frescobaldi and @eyewanderer @palazzocorsini Grazie tantissime 🎨

I had the chance to experience this year’s edition of @friezeofficial in New York as VIP Consultant Germany — spending days surrounded by strong artistic positions, wonderful colleagues and the incredible energy that always makes Frieze special.

Sharing a few of my personal highlights before diving into more dedicated posts about some of the NYC art week highlights and exhibitions.

Already looking forward to continuing the @friezeofficial journey at Frieze London | Masters this October!

@friezeofficial second activation in Spain, this time with Frieze London Director Eva Langret and Director of VIP Leonie Mir, including a special visit to the Instituto Valencia de Don Juan back in March. Some images of a very special night…!

The Instituto holds one of Europe’s most important and distinctive collections of Islamic art from Al-Andalus. Founded in 1916 by Don Guillermo de Osma y Scull and Doña Adelaida Crooke y Guzmán, it was conceived and remains a centre for rigorous academic research and cultural preservation. One of Madrid’s best-kept secrets!

With thanks to Guillermo de Osma, Alfredo Pérez de Armiñán, and @leonorosma for hosting us, and to @factumfoundation for showing us the Selene system.
