First year and summit has come to an end. It is such a bitter sweet feeling.
As I left for summit last year I was in such a different place, there was so may struggles and so much pain I was working through, walking through the gates at summit I would have never known that 8 months later I would be able to look back and say that I am truly changed by the love of Jesus. I have experienced and seen the joy of freedom and being able to walk in it freely, I have been able to experience the love of Jesus and others in a way I have never felt before, he has softened me with his grace and love, he has shown me the power of the cross and simply the truth that, he loves me because he loves me, I can’t explain it or try comprehend it but he just does, he loves me and I have seen that and it has changed me life, there is nothing I have to do to earn it or deserve it, he just loves me because I am his and that is enough.

I have met people who have pushed me closer to Jesus, I have learned how to just except the love of Jesus and learned how to walk in the freedom he has given me, I have seen the faithfulness of God so evident in every little detail, he has kept me and opened my eyes. I have seen God reach into the brokenness and bring healing, I have seen him turn mourning into joy, and I have seen him turn bondage into freedom and I have seen him take the ashes built up of broken pasts and build them into glorious treasures that have been refined and shine the light of Jesus. I have seen him change not only my life but so many and it has been the most faith building beautiful thing to see.

Looking back I see the reason why, I see that the no’s where to protect me, I see that the not yets where to prepare me for something better, and I see that the past is not in vain, and what the enemy has meant for evil he has turned for good!

He is so faithful! He is the faithful healer, father, comforter, protector, friend and savior.

I am forever grateful for the work he has done and for his love!

Came in not knowing what these 8 months would be like & now leaving as family forever 🤍
we cried, laughed, and grew together… learned what it really means to stand in the gap for one another, stay rooted in love, and lift each other up every time.

God met us in it all — every high, every low, every in-between🤍
