This week, I had the immense opportunity to discover the latest creation from @montresbreguet , the Classique Souscription 2025. The first timepiece with a simple architecture, both aesthetically and mechanically, revealing only a single hand on its white enamel dial, the Souscription watch is reborn as a wristwatch. This creation of great purity offers clear readability. More than two centuries ago, it was offered through an advertising brochure, something never before seen. Clad in immaculate enamel, the dial symbolizes the refined aesthetic desired by the master. Based on simplicity and contrasts, it facilitates information gathering. It houses at its center a unique Breguet hand with a hollowed-out, flame-blued, and curved steel knob. All these steps are carried out entirely by hand. Its tapered tip hovers over the famous, slightly inclined Breguet Arabic numerals, as well as the circular "railroad" whose distinctive graphic sectorization indicates the hours and the 5, 10, 15, and 30-minute markings. The entire movement is crafted in black petit feu enamel, the same dark shade as the Breguet signature, which culminates at 12 o'clock. On the back of the case, the caseback, adorned with a generously sized, slightly domed sapphire crystal, reveals the mechanical construction of the new VS00 caliber, made of gilded brass in the same shade as Breguet gold. The result of a meticulous development process, this movement, beating at a frequency of 3Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), delivers, via a single barrel, an impressive four-day power reserve. It incorporates a Nivachronā„¢ balance spring made of a non-magnetic alloy composed primarily of blued titanium and finished with a Breguet curve. This small coiled spring makes the movement more resistant to temperature fluctuations, magnetic fields, and shocks. Another huge thank you to the House of Breguet for this welcome and this presentation. A big congratulations on this little marvel, which heralds many wonderful things for this brand so dear to my heart. A big thank you to Emmanuel Breguet for this exchange and to @gren_kiss , CEO of the House of Breguet. #breguet #breguetwatch #anniversary #souscription
