Finally broke these out.

My @stitchdown Patina Thunderdome prize boots from @brasstokyo / @standardandstrange have been sitting on the shelf for the last year. Partly because I work at a boot company, partly because I didn’t have anything that fit over the boot shaft.

That changed a few weeks ago. I came into work on my birthday back in February, and Liam (@lermyworm ) surprised me with a pair of cinch-back jeans he cut and sewed from some rare 15oz Japanese Kibata denim. He guessed my size and pretty much nailed it. He had no idea it was my birthday, just an incredibly generous gesture that I’ll be forever grateful for.

These boots won’t be daily drivers, but I’ll break them out when the situation calls for gorgeous natural horse rump Japanese pull-ons.
