OUR ‘ECC ‘STRIKE A LIGHT’ PROJECT IS NOW CLOSED TO SUBMISSIONS 💥👇❤ ♡ Featured artist: @valeriacorbetto ♡ Over the coming week we will continue to feature a wide range of work via Instagram. Unfortunately, due to the high volume, it’s impossible to showcase everything on our main page. To see all the submissions we encourage you to visit our #eccstrikealight or #strikealight2020 IG feed Edinburgh Collage Collective would like to send a huge thank you to all the participating collage artists from around the world who have joined us for this project ’Strike a Light’. The response has been extraordinary ♡ Our matchbox project has attracted over 1000 submissions. It’s been a great pleasure and inspiration to receive and share all the incredible work.  We have certainly seen examples of artists thinking both inside and outside the box. The exploration of the medium has resulted in a wide variety of diverse approaches and interpretations. We have seen everything from 2d flattened boxes to full blown dioramas - all taking their inspiration from the humble matchbox ♡ The standard has been incredibly high and now we face the difficult task of selecting just 20 pieces of work for our A5 print publication ♡ Please bear with us and be patient as we work through this process ♡ Selected artists will be notified directly via email and requested to email a high resolution image and relevant details ♡ ♡ #collage #collageproject #eccproject #collagecollective #collagepublication #collageartists #analogcollage #digitalcollage #collagecommunity #edinburghscotland #eccstrikealight #strikealight2020
