At this past #NYFW, Amina Salahou (@aminasalahou) brought Les Adore’s (@lesadoree) community-first vision to life through TASSEL, a runway show and conversation pit with Fernanda Ramirez and Sofi (The Odditty) while spotlighting Nokshi New York (@nokshinewyork), Kymi (@kymi.world), Cleah Jolie (@cleahjolie) and Chunni (@chunni.co).

We spoke with Salahou, Cleah Jolie’s Cleah Dyer and Chunni founders Esha Kaul and Nikhita Khosa about creative identity, building their platforms and finding connection beyond New York Fashion Week.

“Our rooms are meant to be spaces where you can walk in alone and leave with collaborators, mentors, and friends,” Salahou shared.

NYFW with @lesadoree 🤍

Such a pleasure experiencing the looks showcased by these emerging designers, preceded by a panel discussion on confidence and authenticity with @fernandaraamirez & @the_odditty ~

@nokshinewyork crafts timeless and modest garments utilizing sustainably sourced deadstock fabrics to minimize environmental waste, upholding ethical practices. Her pieces have the most exquisite craftsmanship

@chunni.co blends Indian craftsmanship with modern It-girl style, handcrafted by artisans in India with a commitment to slow fashion. I loved the pinks and oranges used in these pieces to add some fun to your wardrobe

@cleahjolie designs modern bridal wear with luxurious detailing, that leaves you feeling glamorous - with room for dancing - all night long

@kymi.world hand makes their pieces in LA, exuding playfulness and authenticity in every moment of your day
