Soy corredora de alma #globalrunningday

Empecé a correr a los 8 años, cuando mi papá me inscribió en una carrera llamada “Corre Niño, Corre”. Desde entonces, nunca más me separé de este deporte.

Me crié en la Federación Deportiva del Guayas, fui campeona nacional de salto alto y corrí muchísimas carreras. Pero con el tiempo entendí que correr era mucho más que competir.

Correr me enseñó disciplina.
Y cuando llegó el cáncer, me ayudó a seguir avanzando cuando todo parecía incierto.
Corro cuando estoy feliz.
Corro cuando estoy triste.
Corro para sanar.
Corro para agradecer.

Porque correr nunca ha sido solo mi deporte.

Ha sido mi medicina.

Mi año empezó creyendo que tenía todo por delante
Pero la vida me dijo: para… aquí mando yo.
Dolor abdominal.
Diagnóstico: cáncer de ovario estadio 3.
Biopsia
Seis quimioterapias y cirugía
Pruebas, cansancio… y volver a empezar.
Este año me dejó regalos inmensos.
Amigas que se volvieron familia.
Personas que no conocía y que hoy son mi red de apoyo ❤️
