This week at @propelwomen Summit, Round 9, has challenged me to the core in the best possible way. So thankful to God that he placed these sisters in my life to run alongside. Also feeling incredibly blessed to be coached by @faitheurycho, who is 🔥🤯🥹. I learn so much from you! And of course the General, @christinecaine herself, who is celebrating 60 in a couple of weeks. These two women (and all the other coaches and leaders) are so full of grace and wisdom and still don’t take themselves too serious. I can’t even begin to describe how refreshing, challenging and encouraging this all is. Traveling back to Germany hankful and blessed, expectant for more and a tad tired…

There are some moments in life where I just step back and look at my reality with so much gratitude. I literally can’t stop talking about it. Praising the Lord for all this good.

Leslie has been an absolute rock in my life. Sometimes I joke that she’s either my third parent or my big sister. She was my babysitter when I was little, then my youth pastor. I stepped into ministry as an intern under her, and over the years she’s mentored me, challenged me, encouraged me, prayed for me, seen me in every season, and been the most trustworthy friend and leader. Now she’s my coworker, a partner in ministry, and one of my very best friends. Her impact on my life and my heart for ministry is hard to put into words. But to sum it up — I’m filled with gratitude.

She’s served as our student pastor for the past 8 years and she’s led so well. She’s loved our students so well. She’s loved Jesus so well. She’s led with so much strength, wisdom, joy, kindness, fun, and passion. She’s built an incredible culture of passionate young people within our church that live in community and love Jesus so well.
I’m so excited for her and the way God is calling her up into new ministry that will serve our church so well. Her heart is to serve the church and serve the Lord. She is always faithful to do so.

Kaleb and I have both had the privilege of serving under her leadership, and we are who we are because of so many people who have faithfully poured into us — Leslie being one of the biggest. We are so excited to be stepping into our new roles at Student Life together! We love and care for this ministry SO MUCH! Our call to ministry is our greatest passion and it’s what we hope to spend the rest of our lives doing. And what a gift it is to do it together.
We love Jesus so much. We love our church so much. We love getting to do this so much!

So, in case you didn’t know, I’m burying a life update in this long post! Kaleb and I are living in the biggest answered prayer right now. We’re both stepping into full-time ministry roles at OKC Community Church. Kaleb is our Music Director and Co-Student Life Director. I am our Content Director and Co-Student Life Director.

honestly there were so many other women in my life who aren’t pictured that made our wedding day happen and if you’re one of them, I love you endlessly! we’ve got the best community out there🤍

We got to serve Heather this morning through the @givebothhands project! Heather has been my dental hygienist since I was young, she is also a widow, and single mom. Through both hands, we were able to help Heather, while raising sponsorship for our adoption! Our account through them will remain open until the adoption is finalized! We are beyond thankful for our friends and family helping us today, and for any and all financial contributions to bring baby Brower into our family!
