Once this summer – «Lesnoye 11» residency.

This time, my stay was brief, yet very precise in its structure: defining the interconnections of people who suddenly found themselves in the space of one house; the quiet of an environment imbued with art and honesty. The theme of the season was hospitality. My feeling – I felt expected there.

For the first time, sleep found me in a different room, and water was also on a schedule. Getting closer to familiar yet unfamiliar artists – a series of very exciting encounters and conversations about our paths. I was nourished by warmth, care, and openness. When nothing is expected of you, it truly replenishes.

Trips for water to the dispenser, a cold shower (because I mixed up the taps), morning coffee and non-alcoholic beer by the bonfire. An attempt to do a joint morning practice, which I myself overslept. Adventures in the neighboring village, a hike to an abandoned amusement park – I led everyone there myself, then got scared myself. A tea party that had to be abruptly ended due to an insect invasion. Researching ruined buildings, fleeing from an alarm, meeting guests in the form of hedgehogs and cats. Morning yoga and gratitude for all that was experienced. There was also rain and ice cream. It felt like an entire summer happened in just a couple of days. Conversations about mountains, teachers, earnings, and attempts to combine artistic work with everyday life.

Thanks to this company: Nastya Belova and Nika Rassvetova ❤️ @belova_performance @tayat_snega @lesnoye11
