It’s been an extremely productive time in Paris. I began my stay at Les Récollets with a panel discussion on “Aaj aur Kal” moderated by Chrystel Dozias, the director of this institution. And tomorrow is the e-catalog launch on Zoom of this show. Also, I have been attempting to continue to write the story of my life. #DeepStudioVisit oneATELIER visited multidisciplinary artist @editakadiric Edita Kadiric studio in Récollets Résidence @lesrecollets located in Paris’s 10th arrondissement on June 4th 2026. During this visit, we focused particularly on the evolving presentation formats of her multimedia practice and on how drawing, animation, objects, and installation could coexist within coherent and accessible exhibition environments. We were also joined by special guests from the Récollets Résidence, who took part in the discussion. Working across drawing, animation, objects, and installation, Edita explores psychological landscapes shaped by the growing dislocations and emotional fragmentation of contemporary life. Her practice reflects on the tensions between hyperconnectivity and loneliness, examining how expanding individual freedoms can also produce forms of detachment, instability, and loss of shared presence. oneATELIER Paris is pleased to announce our next Deep Studio Visit with multidisciplinary artist Edita Kadiric @editakadiric taking place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in her studio in Residence des Recollets in the 10th arrondissement in Paris. Working across drawing, animation, objects, and installation, Edita Kadiric explores psychological landscapes shaped by the dislocations and emotional fragmentation of contemporary life. Her practice reflects on the tensions between hyperconnectivity and loneliness, examining how expanding freedoms can also generate forms of detachment and instability. During this visit, discussions will focus on the evolving presentation formats of her multimedia practice, and on how drawing, animation, objects, and installation can coexist within coherent and accessible exhibition environments. Born in Yugoslavia in 1976, Edita Kadiric studied Fine Arts at the Art Academy of Novi Sad before continuing her research in drawing, artistic production, and intermedia practices in Belgrade and Barcelona, where she began experimenting with hand-drawn animation. oneATELIER Deep Studio Visits are reserved for members only. On the 29th of December will be the launch of “Gulgee Museum: The Handbook” at Les Recollets, Paris. The time of the event is 7:07pm. I will give a presentation of this document cataloging the collection of the Gulgee Museum . This will be followed by a conversation between Chrystel Dozias, the director of Les Recollets and John McCarry, the editor of this book and myself, the curator of my father’s museum. Entre bal populaire et lecture publique, vivez le Bal littéraire du Festival ! Ici, les mots rencontrent la musique, les lectures se mêlent aux pas de danse. Le concept ? La veille à l'aube, plusieurs auteurs se réunissent avec une sélection de leurs morceaux favoris. Ensemble, ils concoctent une playlist et imaginent une histoire inédite, souvent pleine d’humour et de fantaisie. Le soir venu, place au bal ! Les spectateurs-danseurs écoutent cette création littéraire collective, et se laissent emporter sur la piste à chaque tube.
