Hello my fellow mermaids!

I wanted to pick my Top 10 polishes that released on 2021 and share them with you, so I’ll share the first five today and finish them tomorrow. Let me know if any of these was also your favorite of the year.

Let me just start by saying that there are 6 different shades of blue in my top 10, but honestly I’m not surprised 😅. Starting us up is @picturepolish Bold, which is a collaboration shade with @lesstalkmorepolish and as soon as I saw this one in their Summer Collection I knew it would made my favorites of the year.

Who else is all the way worn out after yesterday’s festivities? 🙋🏽‍♀️ This polish color is giving me energy though!

I fell in love with this shade from the moment I saw it. This is @picturepolish Bold in collaboration with @lesstalkmorepolish. I wore this earlier this month and couldn’t stop staring at my nails.

I wore this for several days on its own and wanted to change it up a little so I added @differentdimensionus Gold Rush. Can you tell I’m in love with this topper? I actually really enjoyed how the two looked together!

Finding the perfect nude shade is personal. It depends on your skin tone, natural nail color, and your desired look. The nude shades from the Malibu collection have been so popular that they are now part of the permanent collection, so @opi has an extensive palette of nude shades, ranging from sandy creams to dark espresso browns.

I recommend playing around with a few different nude shades to find what's right for you. Selecting a shade close to your skin tone can create the effect of elongating the fingers. While, a color that's a few shades lighter or darker than your natural tone can offer a nice contrast that still flatters the hand and can play off a season (lighter for spring/ darker for fall, for example). Rich brown shades, in particular, have been trending since spring, and I expect them to continue to be on trend through the winter months!
