Electric! ⚡️ Thanks to the community at @centerforyogala for your incredible energy. What an enormous gift to have the potent percussion prowess of Jason Lee Bruns @brunsbeats Rich Ferguson @fergiebeat and MB Gordy @mbgordy lighting us up with their incredible rhythms. No rehearsal, no discussions, just 3 pros tuning into the room energy to lift everyone’s spirits.
Can’t thank you enough friends. Wow.
Those who were there - watch my stories - I’ll be posting upcoming events where you can experience each of their individual creative offerings at performances and showcases very soon.
So grateful for this experience and everyone involved.

Gilligan’s Guide Training Coming to LA / Calabasas!

I’m so excited to be co-hosting this special training with Lori Bregman at my studio, Already Within on Tuesday, September 22 from 3–6 PM.

We’ll be welcoming Ann Marie Gilligan, RN, SANE-A, LNC, RPYT and Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, creator of @gilligansguide for an intimate afternoon of education, conversation, and hands-on learning around optimal fetal positioning.

Designed for doulas, midwives, nurses, birth educators, prenatal yoga teachers, bodyworkers, student birth workers, and others supporting pregnant families. This workshop explores how fetal positioning can influence the progression of birth and how to prevent, identify, and support the rotation of a malpositioned baby within your scope of practice.

Ann Marie will weave together anatomy and physiology, the pelvis and fetal skull, lifestyle considerations, common birth interventions, real-life case studies, and practical applications you can bring directly into your work with families. There will also be plenty of space for questions, storytelling, and collective discussion with fellow birth professionals.

Tuesday, September 22 | 3–6 PM
Already Within | Calabasas
Certificate of Completion Provided
Drinks + light snacks included.

Space is intentionally limited. To reserve your spot, DM me @pamkessinger to register with your full name, phone number, and email, along with $350 payment via Venmo to @PamKessinger. A confirmation email will be sent once your registration and payment are received.

Feel free to share with anyone who may be interested. I’m really looking forward to bringing our LA + Ventura birth community together.

Singing Happy Bobby Labonte 18th Birthday to @scarlye07’s BF @h3nry.burns on my way home the moment my mom came back from picking up groceries at Wal-Mart. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was gonna be extra busy this week and today and yesterday I sure as hell proved it as well as Monday, Wednesday and Thursday so pretty much all week has kicked ass so we’ve by far had a great week without a doubt! The Winston Cup Series Race at Sears Point Raceway is gonna be a lot of fun tomorrow

Another barnburner in the books at @rogerson_liam’s Larry Foyt 14th Birthday Party while also celebrating @h3nry.burns’ Bobby Labonte 18th Birthday in conjunction to continue this momentum since the NBA Finals Debacle from @wemby and the @spurs 2 weeks ago.

The events of today was NOT on the Bingo Card as I ended up getting an unexpected midparty invite right after I got done filming my Sandy Ridge Walkout Intro + as for the song choice in the TikTok, it was @shyazimiz91’s idea to in order to speed things up and also based on her childhood in terms of the music she grew up with and the best part, today was the 2 drought broken in 1 week as not only did I get to reunite and catch up with my bestie @tybrowne99 for the 1st time since last August after the Sirius Satellite Radio at The Glen when I met his lady @leona_.444 but after 4 years of trying and frustration, I FINALLY got to see my other bestie @jade.krzy for the 1st time since 2022! LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Next up: The Dodge/SaveMart 350 at Sears Point Raceway tomorrow afternoon, followed by @cedarpoint with my dad @ohiostate101458 for the 2nd week in a row to kick off this year’s Devil’s Canyon Trilogy followed by a day off to rest before riding off into the 4th of July Sunset romantically with Amanda on Wednesday to give her proper closure so I don’t have to wait as long to see her again following the Holiday Break.

Being a doula isn’t just a job—it’s emotional labor, physical endurance, and nervous system output on demand.

And if you’re constantly pouring without being poured into… burnout isn’t a possibility, it’s a guarantee.

Let’s elevate the standard.

Doula the Doula Days are for the woman who understands that sustainability requires intention—and that high-level care starts with how well you care for yourself.

This isn’t basic self-care.This is restoration. This is regulation. This is recalibration at a professional level.

You don’t build a sustainable, premium business by running on empty.

Self-care isn’t a treat…It’s the standard. ✨
