Mother is out!! 🤍🧡 I am beyond grateful that I get to share this song with you all. Such a labour of love, so many changes, so much magic and and so much love was poured into this song from so many people. A song to celebrate being a woman, no matter what your choices are in the future. I am so grateful to be alive and I have my mother and her mother, and her mother and my nana to thank and so forth and so forth. This song was written to grapple with the heavy emotions that surround the world and the future and how we may feel bringing new life into it. The cover image is a photo of my beautiful grandmother Joyce holding her first of four amazing children - my mother Julie. (Location unknown but it looks lovely)

Some thank you’s for those who have helped in the creation of this song:

@unkoyosurlaprod as always for doing the absolute most (production - recording - mixing - composing - visuals) and bringing this whole thing to life with me 🤍
@erinxmarcellina for the beauty (keys and composition)
@kyraharpe for the magic (harp)
@danielnash_12 for the heartbeat (drums)
@allthebigtreesaround for the shine (mastering)
@andreashipka for the motivation (managing me and my chaos & determination)
@juliepaulwriterrmt for creating me

Thank you to every woman who has ever come up to me after a show with tears in their eyes and expressed how this song has made them feel seen, you have helped me bring this song to life.

Chips!! This song is finally out!!
I’m very excited for you all to drive around (literally or figuratively) and listen to this song with your windows down in the sunset 🤍 I hope it inspires you to buy chips for the people you love to show them by listening to what they love to snack on ⭐️🥔🤍 the cover of this song is extra special to me, it features my grandfather and my mother in 1970 in front of Paul’s booth, the diner that my grandfather started and ran for many years. On slide 2 you can see me with one of the original menu boards that proclaim CHIPS are 65 cents or 1 dollar. (Inflation amirite?) I am sure that Paul’s chips were somebody’s favourite chips. (Slide 4 is my grandpa and mother this summer!) 🤍

Special thank you to:
Rodolphe @unkoyosurlaprod as always for everything on this song (produced, recorded and mixed)
@allthebigtreesaround for the master mastering as usual
Daniel Nash @danielnash_12 for the drums !
Studio Maria @lestudiomaria
Renon @renonmusic for writing the harmonies with us!
Andrea Shipka, @andreashipka for managing to put up with my controlled chaos all the time
And of course My grandfather for creating and modelling such a great cover picture, and my mother for also being in it, and also for making me. 🤍🤍

I hope you enjoy! And thank you so much for listening !!
