✈️1st Stop✈️ - Departure Gate

The first stop on our flight to Go With Gabe is highlighting the COMMUNITY here at Troy University. Over the past 4 years, I have had the chance to serve as a Trojan Ambassador, an SGA Delegate, a Living Stones Counselor, a member of my fraternity, and an IMPACT leader. These roles all mean the world to me, but they were never the real gift.

The real gift has been the people I have grown up with throughout it all!!

The ones who went on late night Cookout runs. The ones who stayed to the very end of EVERY Troy football game. The ones who made any normal interaction on the Quad one that I remembered throughout my day because of the joy they brought to me. The ones who consistently checked on me when I was stressed and never made me feel like I had to have everything figured out. The ones who always celebrated the small wins just as hard as the big ones, and who showed up for me when I needed them most, even if they didn’t know it. Somewhere along the way these last few years, these friends, peers, professors, fraternity brothers, stopped feeling like friends and started feeling like my family. They are the reason that Troy stopped being just a college campus and started being my home. Thank you Troy University ❤️🖤

This campaign team, these friends, the Troy community - they’re the reason I love this place the way that I do.

I’m not just running for the title.

I’m running with my people and for all of YOU 🫵!!
