Was at the gym today with my @lethcounty water bottle. Kids get candy at parades but sometimes adults get swag, and this is swag that I’ll definitely use! And I love the colour 🧡

Lethbridge County holds a very special place in the story of this event because they were the very first grant to believe in TIME Society and support us from the very beginning!

We’re so grateful they trusted us to bring this vision to life and helped give us the initial support to make our first major event possible.

Thank you, Lethbridge County, for believing in us from the start!!!

Day 1 of the Alberta Municipalities convention done! Great learning - Council split up and took different sessions so I went to one to learn about health care changes and things to come. We enjoyed lunch, following the Premier’s speech, with some of the @coaldaleab and @lethcounty team.

We were able to connect with lots of other elected officials to learn, share ideas, and brainstorm. And we spent time connecting with businesses and organizations that provide services to municipalities.

Long day but lots accomplished!

There are a lot of ways to measure what happened at Henderson Lake this morning. Our fastest runner finished the 5K in about 17 minutes. The top three reached the finish line within 25. About 100 people made their way around the lake. But for us, what matters most is how many people chose to show up for recovery.

Some came to compete, some simply to finish, and others volunteered, cheered, brought their families or stood along the path encouraging people forward. Every person who participated contributed something to the day.

Our inaugural Lethbridge Recovery Community 5K Run for Recovery showed us again that recovery is people helping people. It is not only about what a person stops doing. It is about participating in life again, taking responsibility, contributing to community and finding a place to belong. With beautiful weather and people encouraging one another around the lake, that is exactly what we saw.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make this day possible. Your help and participation mean more than you know.

We were grateful to have Southern Alcare Manor alongside us for this first event. Our thanks also go to Crosshair Cutting, Coring and Demolition, Lethbridge County, Public Image Co. for their printing support, File Solutions Limited and Tim Hortons. Most of all, thank you to every volunteer, family member, community supporter and member of the Lethbridge Recovery Community who gave their time and energy.

This was our first year, but it will not be our last. We look forward to seeing even more people find their place at the start line next year.

Moving Together. Healing Together.

There’s something satisfying about seeing a Kubota out doing the kind of work most people drive past without thinking twice about.

This Lethbridge County M110GX spends its time mowing roadside ditches, covering miles of ground and keeping after the kind of job that never really ends.

No staged demo. No perfect field conditions. Just a tractor out earning its keep.

That’s the kind of footage we like to share because it shows what matters most: what the machine actually does once it leaves the yard.

If you’re looking for a Kubota for your farm, acreage, municipality or operation, come talk to us.

It was an early morning today as Mayor Deb Florence and I helped out the @lethcounty crew with their amazing annual breakfast for the Whoop Up Days parade registrants. We were there at 6 am, parade started at 9, and they didn’t stop flipping pancakes and cooking sausages that whole time!

We saw so many people while hanging out in the parking lot, including Lethbridge’s Honourary Parade Marshall, Knud Petersen, so had to get a selfie!

The County folks invited us to join them for the parade since it was just the two of us today. It was a great time on their float.

Following the parade, @mayor_town_of_coaldale , @billchapman19 , and @lisa_reis_tofc_council invited us to ride back to our cars on the top of their fire engine! That was so fun, the view is incredible up there.

Thank you to the City of Lethbridge for hosting a wonderful parade! I hope the rest of your Whoop Up week is amazing.

One thing that I’ve really appreciated this past year is the wonderful relationships we have with our surrounding communities! I feel very fortunate that we get to work with the incredible people in our region! 🙏
