This is me after yet another successful year of being the Festival Producer for the @afrodiasporicoceanfestival in Rockaway Beach, Queens, NYC. ✨

Much love and gratitude to @yurasapi and the entire team @liberarte_inc , our supporters, partners & sponsors. Thank you for letting me dream irl. 🥹

This year we spotlighted Garifuna culture. 💛🤍🖤
I personally was inspired by two special people who have shared so much about their community with me.
Special thanks to @leti.hope for carrying your family’s culture with so much pride and connecting me to the people and ideas that helped bring this vision to life. ⭐️
And to Aydon of @larubeyasurfing , thank you for inspiring me to learn more about Garifuna culture and for being my safe space here in the Rockaways. 🏄🏽‍♀️🌊

Feeling immense gratitude. 🌊☀️

Last week was nothing short of magical, from celebrating my birthday with sweet surprises and unexpected blessings, to producing a festival I’ve grown to deeply admire and aligns with everything I love to now having the joy of shaping with @liberarte_inc

To every single person who helped make it happen, our amazing supporters, volunteers, funders and partners, our brilliant graphic designer, the talented musicians and dancers, and the incredible Rockaways community; THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart.

We’re only getting started. 🌊✨

It was so fun cosplaying Death the Kid and doing Soul Eater with my friends!! It was one of the most comfortable cosplays I’ve made 😭 It’s also the first time I got to paint and style a wig (with the help of @cokeape ty ty)

it was also really fun to run into old friends and ofc make new ones at the con!! Im already having post con depression :,)
