Today is my suegra’s birthday, and if I’m being honest, celebrating anything has been very difficult for our family since losing Adriel.

A lot of you have probably noticed that you haven’t seen my suegra as much in recent videos. The truth is, creating the kind of content we make requires us to be in the right mood. It requires laughter, energy, and for us to genuinely enjoy the moment together.

Behind all the jokes and crazy moments you’ve seen over the years is a real family that loves each other deeply. Right now, that same family is trying to learn how to live with a pain that words could never fully explain.

But today, I want to celebrate my suegra. Not because the pain is gone, and not because everything suddenly feels normal again, but because she deserves to feel how loved and appreciated she truly is.

She has brought so much laughter into the lives of so many people who have watched us over the years. She is more than the funny sweet woman you see in our videos. She is the heart of the family, a mother, a grandmother, and someone I can always count on when my wife is acting up. Come on, you didn’t think I was going to get through this without cracking a joke did you? 😂 I mean it’s not really a joke. 🙂
