Congratulations to friend and collaborator @thenomadmumke on formalizing her creative endeavor - NOMAD FOOTPRINTS COLLECTIVE - a collective of Indigenous storytellers in Kenya at @nomadfootprintske

I first met Laissa and her father in their home territories of Northern Kenya in 2019. He was so proud to introduce us and for the world to know the strength of their peoples. What a beautiful journey it has been to bear witness to such an inspired and determined path of storytelling and a gift to work together. Please follow their collective for Indigenous authored and created content coming from Maasai peoples.

What an incredible night celebrating Indigenous culture, creativity and fashion on New Zealand’s biggest fashion platform, @nzfashionwk . ✨

The evening brought together some of the most inspiring designers and models, creating a truly unforgettable showcase of Indigenous talent and storytelling.

The entire production was Māori-led, from hair and makeup to the runway, honouring the traditions, people and stories woven throughout each collection. 🤎

A truly remarkable celebration of Indigenous design and culture, and another defining @kaahuicollective moment on the NZFW runway. ✨

What an honour to witness such a powerful showcase of creativity, identity and heritage. 🌿 #culturemeetsfashion #nzfashionweek2026 #southpacific
