Pickleball isn’t just something I play it’s my therapy.
It’s where I reset, refocus, and remember who I am when the noise fades.

No announcements. No explaining the grind.
Just showing up, putting in the reps, and training in silence.
The court knows the work.

And even if it’s not pickleball
find something you can get behind.
Something that grounds you, challenges you, and helps you heal.

Pilates to warm us up, pickleball to light us up, and community to lift us ALL the way up 🥒✨

Had an absolute blast attending an event powered by Black Girls Pickle Too x Safeway Community Program. We stretched, we laughed, we introduced ourselves, and then we got to WORK on the courts 💪🏾🔥 Games for every level, good vibes only, and fellowship that reminded me why representation in recreation matters.

This one? A whole time. And the next event is already on my radar 👀💚

Here’s to more spaces, more rallies, and more events that center and celebrate marginalized communities—because we belong everywhere, especially on the court.

Getting in some with my @lets.nolja paddle 🔥💪🏼
Great touch, control and power. Shaping the ball is so easy with paddle, and good dwell time.
