📍Jardine River National Park, Cape York.

Wowee. What an epic area! This was a lovely break at the halfway point of the Tele. Fruit Bat Falls, Eliot Falls, Twin Falls and The Saucepan. Insanely clear water and almost no one around 🙌🏻

📍Old Telegraph Track, Cape York. Part 1 of not sure how many!

In a wild turn of events, we ended up taking Sally on the Tele! So many photos from this wild little journey. Absolutely stoked to tick this one off the bucket list!!

The Old Telegraph Track didn’t come with enough questionable decisions, so we made our own - Zipline at Nolan’s was a winner!

Old Telegraph Track 🤝 Bushfire

Didn’t have this on the 2026 bingo card. Bit of night driving and we got to a safe spot 🤙

Station Set Up Series #5

Okayyy, how about this for a set-up… the dream.

Meet Tom, Juli & Noah from @letsbeadventurersau, who have well and truly nailed life on the road. A home on wheels, a spot under the Bullara gums and everything you need for the good kind of station living.

Safe to say, we wouldn’t mind calling this home for a while.

Who should we feature next?

🏕️ Free camps, hidden gems, and places you’ll want to add to the map…
Here are this week's community-recommended camps worth saving for your next adventure.

📸 Featured Spots & Big Lappers:

📍 Old Langi Crossing (Telegraph Pool), WA 📸@letsbeadventurersau
A peaceful riverside bush camp on the Fitzroy River. High-clearance 4WD access is essential, and permission from Yeeda Station is required before camping. 🐊Be croc-wise!

📍 Julia Creek Campground, QLD 📸@rampt.up.travels
A popular stop in western Queensland with spacious camping close to town. Free permits (valid for up to 96 hours) are required and can be collected from the camp hosts (Apr–Sep) or the Visitor Information Centre (Oct–Mar)

📍 40 Mile Campground (Gnoorea Point), WA 📸@travellingbels
Wake up right on the Pilbara coastline, with fishing and beach walks at your doorstep. During the peak winter season (May 1 – Sept 30), it is a paid campsite. In the off-season (Oct 1 – Apr 30), it’s free, but stays are capped at 3 nights. Must have a toilet on board (day toilets are for day-users only)

📍 Goulet Bluff Campground, WA 📸@thethrivinwanderers
Located in the Shark Bay region, it is strictly limited to a single 24-hour stay. You must book a permit online (via ParkStay) before you arrive. Also, the 24-hour rule applies across the whole group of Shark Bay coastal camps…if you stay 24 hours at Goulet Bluff, you cannot move to Eagle Bluff or Whalebone Bay the next night

📍 Stewarts Crossing Campground, NSW 📸@anne.ontour
A free, dog-friendly bush camp right on the Shoalhaven River at Oallen. It offers basic drop toilets, but there is no drinking water or power.

📍 Murray River, Torrumbarry, VIC 📸@exploreoz
A relaxing riverside destination near Echuca, perfect for fishing, boating and slowing down by the water. A great spot to enjoy the quieter side of the Murray River.
