A little local-business shoutout for Robert Carpenter, founder of The Classical Workshop. Robert has a Ph.D. in Classics and turned that knowledge into something pretty cool: children’s books, puzzles and games that introduce kids to ancient mythology, literature, history and art through storytelling and play. Their products are thoughtfully researched, illustrated by real artists (no AI), and made right here in the USA. These photos are a great example of something I want business owners to see: branding photos don’t have to mean one traditional headshot. You might need a few polished portraits. You might want something more relaxed. Maybe you need photos with your products, tools or work in your hands. The goal is to create images that feel like you and give you fresh, useful content for your website, social media and marketing. If your business has been running on the same handful of photos for way too long, this may be the time to update them! And while you’re here, go give Robert + The Classical Workshop a look, especially if you have a little mythology or history lover at home! #indianapolisphotographer #brandingphotoshoot #indybusiness #indianabusiness #piperandclaire

Proof that grey coverage doesn’t have to mean flat color. She wanted coverage, but we weren’t interested in covering up all the dimension that makes her hair beautiful in the first place. So we kept the depth, brought in warmth, softened the greys, and added brightness where it actually mattered. The result is a blonde that has movement, contrast and dimension—not just a solid sheet of color. This is one of my favorite things about dimensional color: it can make a noticeable difference without making your hair look like you just had your hair colored. Warm blonde + grey coverage + dimension. That combination deserves more attention. 📍 The Study Salon | Westfield, IN #WestfieldIN #WestfieldIndiana #westfieldindianahairstylist #IndianapolisHairstylist #carmelindianahairsalons

Sometimes the starting canvas isn’t “bad” it just isn’t blonde enough. Seeing this guest for the first time, she wanted more blonde and brighter blonde with a soft grow out. Getting to watch her reaction, and her mom’s reaction, was one of those little moments that makes being a hairstylist so gratifying. ⚡️ Bright, dimensional blonde ⚡️ Custom blonding ⚡️ Seamless color 📍 Westfield, Indiana | The Study Salon #WestfieldINHairstylist #WestfieldINHair #IndianapolisHairstylist #IndianapolisBlonde #indylivedinhair

Meet Caroline, founder and designer of CS Studios & Co. (@csstudiosandco), a branding and website design studio dedicated to helping creatives and small businesses build a cohesive, memorable online presence. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a thriving business fueled by Caroline’s passion for thoughtful design and helping entrepreneurs bring their visions to life. Through intentional branding and custom websites, she partners with business owners to create brands that not only look beautiful but also tell their unique story. A proud Indiana native, Caroline grew up in a close-knit family she still considers her best friends. She and her husband now live on their family farm in Boone County, where she balances life as a small business owner while also working in corporate America as a recruiter. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her enjoying all things cozy, running the Monon Trail, or wandering through a packed antique store in search of hidden treasures. As the founder of this page I have been so lucky to have been connected to so many awesome people! I recently launched @luckylabel__ , and I had the opportunity to work with Caroline to bring my vision to life, and I truly couldn’t recommend her enough. From the start she took the time to understand every idea I had, welcomed feedback, and created a website that is beyond anything I could have imagine!’ She made the entire process feel seamless genuinely cared about creating something that reflected my business! A study in light, dimension, and tone. Her natural soft red became the perfect canvas for delicate blonde ribbons, creating a strawberry blonde finish that shifts with every movement. The beauty of dimensional color is found in the way each tone enhances the other, creating depth, reflection, and a seamless blend that feels effortless. Color designed to move with the light, evolve beautifully, and grow out with intention.

A little BTS, a little salon progress, and a very important new addition to my hairstylist toolkit… 🥤✨ The Framar Diet Coke Girlie Brush officially made her salon debut today, and I’m pretty sure she’s already claimed her spot. 😂 I got to walk through The Study Salon again and see all the progress happening behind the scenes. Watching this space transform from construction to a place where we’ll create beautiful hair memories is such a cool experience. I’m so excited for what’s coming and grateful to be part of it. Cheers to new beginnings, beautiful spaces, and tools that make the everyday moments a little more fun. 🤍 @framar @the.study.salon
